There are many villages in the Himalayas that people have made along the trekking route. Many travelers stay for long periods of time to be curious about the lives of the villagers. Among them, Ghandruk is a village surrounded by Annapurna and Machapuchare, and is home to the Gurung community. The morning routine of students in the Annapurna region of Nepal is to feed cows and clean up cow dung before going to school. Students work part-time as 'porters' whenever they have time. Become friends with the brothers who work as porters in Ghandruk and share their lives a little. The porters earn 2,000 rupees (about 20,000 won) a day. It is not easy to climb the mountain path carrying dozens of kilograms of luggage. Recently, as the number of female travelers has increased, female porters have also become popular. The female porters, who are said to be stronger than male porters, add excitement to the trekking course by dancing and singing without getting tired. There are many dizzyingly deep valleys on the Himalayan trekking course. What's even more thrilling is the steel suspension bridge connecting the valleys. Cross the valleys on the 287m long Kadoorie Bridge and enjoy the scenery and thrill of the Himalayan valleys at the same time. Time to finish the trekking. We finish our journey at the village of Tatopani in Annapurna. Tatopani, which means 'hot water', is also famous for its natural hot springs. We relieve our trekking fatigue at the Tatopani hot springs, which are said to have healing effects on joints, skin, and nerves. Our Nepal trip started and ended among people.
