Hey ya Sheri. I grew up on Taco Tico in Wichita, Kansas. We partied in the 80s and had to have a butt load of tacos from the Tico. I live southwest of Tampa, Florida now. Thanks for the recipe sweetheart.
I usually put the ground beef in a pot, add a little cold water, and mix with my hand, adding little bits of water until I get the consistency of the "hamburger soup" that I want, then put it on the fire and cook it with my spices. Eventually the liquid will reduce away leaving very tender ground beef.
Cool, who would have ever thought,....oatmeal! My grandmother would always put oatmeal and the kitchen cupboard in hamburgers she made me as a kid,...yes, I liked it!
And I love your face! ♥️ You should show your face more often. I use lean meat as well. Oatmeal….interesting. Looks good girl. Sounds good in a taco salad
My ex-wifes four brothers all worked for Taca Tico back in the late 70's early 80's. They used out flour. I do miss the original Taco Tico products.
miss it bad

That looked great, Sherie. Cooked in water and butter in the end is something I had never seen. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you😊😊

Soybeans instead of oatmeal. Is what the recipe called for. From working there in the 80’s.
