I prefer to see the stock wheels on the 3rd gens. Besides, 265/70/16 is just perfect for the wheel well. I bought and sold many of these in the past 3 years and the Sport Edition (hoodscoop) is harder to come by especially with the 4WD.

My 2000 4Runner Limited is better than this one in many ways. I bought it new and I've done all the service on it. My front bumper is chipped from rocks and that's about it. You won't find a better vehicle than the Gen 3 4Runner. Do your regular maintenance and they will last your lifetime. Body lifts are stupid btw. I wish I knew the price for which this one sold.
I HAVE 2 1999 4 RUNNER LIMITEDS. ONE HAS ONLY 108,374 KM OR 67,394 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT. THE OTHER HAS 894,723 KM OR 554,291 MILES . THE TWO BEST YEARS FOR 3RD GENERATION 4 RUNNERS WERE 1999 AND 2000, AND YES THEY ARE THE BEST SUV EVER BUILT BY ‘’ANY’’ COMPANY PERIOD.
