    Four and a half hours of my 67th birthday down the river. Good use of my rapidly diminishing stock. 😉

      I’m very close behind you. I wouldn’t waste my time watching me. Particularly on my birthday. C.

    Ive been waiting to hear Peachy! Love it. I do believe I'll install a Alumitone in my Burny junior. Chris, thanks again for sharing your creations and insights.

      Thanks very much. It’s a heavy body and a dense neck. Wood is a variable. When you get a nice piece you can make a nice guitar. C

      I’m feeling much better this last week. I ma get in the workshop next week if the cold holds off. Thanks for you lovely comments phil. I had a beautiful Les Paul but I sold it. It was too heavy and I just couldn’t connect with it.

      Thanks my friend. I’m just saying what I know and what I think. I don’t claim to be a great luthier or a guru. But there is great joy to be found in guitar making. I’m looking forward to get back to it. In the meantime, whilst it’s cold I’m trying to think of something else to post. Related but wider. Let’s see what happens. Whatever it is I hope it will be fun.

    Hi - it is an awesome looking guitar - the breaks just from the touch Wow, that pick up makes this the perfect machine ! and the sustain !
    it probably is the best guitar you did or will ever do - stunning look and sound ! what more do you need ! Something completely different !!!! lol

      Thanks Mario, I love it for all the reasons you said. Unfortunately, the some Herbert here thinks it’s harsh, has no sustain and lacks tone and ‘wood’. Go figure. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you my friend. Have a great Christmas and a wonderful new year. C

    Great job. Looks lovely. I also enjoyed reading the snobby comments. The guitar community is the most oversaturated and over opinionated thing I've ever experienced online. "I don't like the pickup" or "I don't like the cab"... I'm sorry but who gives a shit?? 🤣 Anyways great work

      Thanks so much. I’m not given to letting comments like the one from Gary just sit there and fester unchallenged. He’s talking bollocks and I’m happy to point that out. Anyhoo, thanks for your support and encouragement. C

    Not a fan of this Line 6 Cab...

    • @chrisreynoldsguitarmaking
      @chrisreynoldsguitarmaking  8 місяців тому +1

      It’s a flat response cab with speaker modelling emulation. What’s not to like it can be literally anything. It’s like saying you don’t like white cornflower sauce. It’s literally a cab without its own natural colouring. A nothing or everything cab.

    P90 would be better, Lace are very Harsh and you wont hear the wood of the guitar that brings nice sweet sustain and tone. I think it was cool you tried but no, its music we are after.

      What does the wood sound like? Asking for a friend. So you listened to the guitar and could not hear tone, wood or sustain. You think that sustain comes from the pickups? I take so many issues with your comment that I’m simply going to have to ignore it. Worst of all you could’bt hear music. That places you in a very special corner where I dare not go. C
