I have somehow felt that I had to be solving every issue for everyone in my family on my own. They all came to me for help, and I got in a lot of trouble. Returning to reading the scriptures, walking in the footsteps of Jesus, turning my problems to Him for help, I increased my faith, and got my balance restored.. I learned my lessons. I will rely on God in my prayers and following Jesus's teachings. No more going it alone.

I saw a post on Instagram earlier today. It said something along the lines of "Failures are mirrors that show you that YOU NEED GOD." What an indescribably beautiful message it is that we can call upon God, an He will lighten our burdens.

I didn't have a father that I could trust to share my experiences with or feelings because it would end up a situation of him telling me what I SHOULD do according to his opinion. I often got opinion blessings from him instead of blessings through him from Heavenly Father. So, I have struggled with being authentic and coming to God in prayer. As of late, I have been leaning into talks, videos, anything and everything the church has to turn to Christ and also to make greater efforts to pray and ponder the things of God. I am trying to trust that He is the ultimate kind father who I can come to. I appreciated so much the comment she made about when she is honest with her prayers and truly vulnerable she feels a greater sense or relief, and I might add peace. So I am trying.... and I am grateful to all who were involved with this message especially the artist! This is marvelous.

God brought me all the way out to Kansas to finally see the baggage I was carrying and work towards setting those burdens at the saviors feet. A very serious pain of rejection and abandonment from the man I was dating caused me to feel all the feelings I had been hiding and the rocks felt heavy finally. I enjoyed watching this video. It was relatable to my situation. I’m seeing a therapist 15 sessions into it. I feel like I’m ringing out my emotional baggage like a towel being squeezed, and the tears are the water.
Great to know you're finding help on your way through it, Jen! Keep going! You can and will do it as you seek and trust the Lord!

You are amazing to share and help others with your story and beautiful painting! I've been having challenges like that, too. It is hard to share, but I've found solice & help through the Savior. My daughter & I just started taking a class put on by the church to help people share & work through these issues together. It is called 'Finding Strength in the Lord,'

Truly lovely. 2023 was such a difficult year for me; after the passing of my mother I had a major collapse with my mental health and ended up in the hospital. It has only been in the last couple of months that I have begun to feel happiness and purpose again. One of the major turn-arounds was when I prayed to God and asked what I needed to do better and the answer came swiftly out-of-the-blue, just one word: "Trust." Since then I have been trying to focus on trusting God, and He has lightened my load so much.
