If I was running these tournaments I would love to put you in as talent because you love the game, thank you. I picked the same team as you last time but jeez picking the right roles too makes a huge difference. I'm picking my team again b4 finishing the video haha.
i ended up going for sh1ro for betboom dacha and it really cost me because i had to go down to brollan who didnt perform nearly as well as his teammates
for this event ive dwelled on it alot, had a lot of drafts that included stewie (althought i just think the risk is too high) ive ended up going for torzsi, zont1x, chopper, suihy and swisher
swisher as opposed to jt is my big risk but i could really see m80 beating faze in their opening game, faze notoriously start slow and if they manage to beat faze they either play a struggling vp or a degster-less heroic for playoffs, im really banking on spirit and mouz to take care of things although i think we all believe they will
yep same logic as me really, i just fell on the other side of the coin and expect faze to cruise through! but when do they ever make their job easy for themselves...
AHH maybe i should just swap to spirit :D gl!
this is a different draft because many teams will make it. i think if you pick a player from a team that makes it through you should do well and the odds are pretty high
Great draft. xertioN has been my go to player on MOUZ and he doesn't disappoint. Frozen is also a solid pick for the group stage because he farms in these games. I'm #54 on the global leaderboard so I decided to play it a bit safer with MOUZ and Spirit. I have Chopper, Zontix, Torzsi, Siuhy, and Swisher. Swisher seems to have good games Vs top 5 and top 10 teams. I don't think he'll go negative like Snappi 😅.
nice variation, zontix is honestly a steal and I might flip flop into putting him into my draft instead haha, faze having an easier second round / lower bracket (if needed) is what has swayed me the other way.

@@lucycasts thank you Lucy. I had no expectations at the beginning of the season because this is my first complete season but I am surprised I've placed so highly despite having some really awful drafts sometimes. I hope you finish at the top of the leaderboard and get that first prize.
And yes, Zontix is good value at 208, same as FlameZ. But I don't think he can farm more than Frozen.
Congrats on the 2% Lucy! Bummer about the 2 points, but it's still a monster result.
I'm in the top100! I was gonna go with a VP double pick last event, but I chickened out because of overpass' removal from the map pool, so I went with a boring Mouz - Spirit + degster team and ended with a 4%.
I think I've got my team for this event:

Magisk
Only one IGL, and the filler pick is a rock solid legend with a pretty high floor. Plus, if there is one event where Falcons got a good shot at beating G2, then this is it, when stewie10AM is filling in for hooxi. Worth a shot I think.
My other idea would be -ropz +broky and -Magisk +aleksib, but I'm not too enthusiastic about aleksi as the filler pick. I dislike him as a fragger, and I'm not very optimistic about Navi's current form either. What's your opinion, which team would you go for?
love this approach, if mouz weren't in such fire form I'd go vitality myself. you're probably on the right track by lifting the floor and avoiding all the IGLs, rain/ropz is such a killer combo at that price point. i don't think broky is worth it, magisk will get you mant more points than aleksi even if they dont make playoffs imo!
I'm going with siuhy, torzsi, zont1x, chopper and jt. I really wanted to pick apex or flamez, but I couldn't get a draft I was happy with without picking 2 from Vitality. I definitely didn't want 4 of my players from one group lol. I don't know if it was just me, but this event seemed a lot harder than previous events to get a decent team within the budget.
half tempted to flip to this team, faze just have the slightly better run... zontix is a great price and with the teams spirit face vs the teams vitality face, i feel he will deliver more points this event than flamez

For dallas I'm drafting siuhy, torzsi, karrigan, broky and stewie
Torzsi had the same numbers as xertion at bb dacha and the ability to get broky with the extra money was too hard to pass up he's been a monster lately, stewie is a risk but hoping he doesn't sink the ship and maybe has a pop off map or series, as G2 might be playing a lot looser and unpredictable with no Hooxi
yeah this is very much in the same vein i was thinking, you can fiddle a lot with the combination between mouz and faze but nothing really satisfies me! i like torzi a lot especially with role activation, i just don't want him because everyone else has him...!
stewie vs aleksi is the real question!

this team kinda cool actually. first m0nesy draft i have seen! high potential if g2 can make that lower run (which i do favour them with, even if complexity look great rn)
6:13 considering how he played at betboom? when he went fucking 0-14 on a map? or smth like that
top30 rn and i do not know if i should gamble on Swisher or just go for aleksib
top 30, nice! my only worry with aleksi and why i might change him is the lack of any real pop-off potential. at least with a player like chopper or siuhy you know they can have big games. aleksi just doesn't, and goes negative the majority of the time (61.4% of games this year).
will swisher do better? hard to say. but can he do much worse? your call...
@lucycasts Yeahh true, at the end I decided to go for the Swisher pick, i have 2 mouz and 2 spirit players and if they do reach upper bracket finals then i shouldnt really worry that much about swisher, im just hoping he has an atleast 1 good game tho :P
Couldn't find a team I was that happy with. Everything that was close ended up a couple of thousand off. Ended up with apEX-mezii-siuhy-Brollan-zont1x, which probably has a high floor low ceiling. Not exactly inspiring.

pretty decent, shame there's a lack of good choices around the 185-190 range really! you do lose a bit of potential with the vitality mouz matchup in group a tho
I think the M80 guys are super underpriced given how little their performance drops off against top 30 teams. I've gone with zywoo/apex/slaxz/swisher/siuhy. Maybe top 90% but I don't really care about the season leaderboard, just going for the prizes.
double m80 is bold but if they beat faze in the bo1 I can easily see them beating current VP. the run is possible! and ofc zywoo will farm. I like!
my bb dacha fantasy got top 6% even with -32 points on norwi, oh well
i really like dallas fantasy, so much to choose from
however ill go with meme team this time, since i don't care about spring leaderboard because i started way too late

honestly a good team with few people backing navi, could definitely achieve some interesting results!
I'm thinking the same atm, spirit prices also aren't worth it imo
