- The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra got in folks hands about two weeks ago (or yesterday if you didn't get one of the early ones). So how's it been holding up?

If you are an adult that has a firm grasp on your finances, sure financing a phone isn't the worst thing in the world, especially if you can get 0% interest throughout the duration. I personally don't like financing luxuries, and I consider the S24 ultra a luxury purchase.
I disagree... I don't finance anything in my life but my home. But financed my s24 ultra, what's $40 a month for an amazing phone. Also only finance is you have the ability to pay the phone cash! Forgot to add this part lol!
ALSO how are you using your s24 to an external display? 6:10? USBc to USB c? Or USB c to mini HDMI???
Please make a video elaborating on your view here.
We didn't necessarily finance ours but we got it through ATT for around $300 total. Its spread out over 3 years with sucks but we aren't leaving ATT anytime soon so it makes complete sense.
It only makes sense to finance at 0%. Technically it makes sense if your apr is less than the inflation rate. Also, carries like xfinity mobile give you $500 off but you only get that discount if you finance at 0%.
@@crizzy4614 You disagree because you're too young or too financially inexperienced to know better. You're not paying $40 a month. You're paying $1000 + over 24 months. It makes sense to you upfront because you're walking out of the store having paid a little to receive a lot; that's how it's designed. No adult who is serious about personal finances will finance something they cannot afford to pay upfront, especially an unnecessary purchase like the latest phone. That's one of the cornerstones of being fiscally responsible.
Got my new S24 Ultra last night, finally upgraded from a note 10 plus that lasted me almost 4 years now... I have a feeling this one will be my phone for the next 4 to 5 years :)
Well, it's receiving 7 years of software updates, so it can last far longer than that if you take care of it.
Stephen ^ 😂this one is the one. Dang. Sounds hilarious all the best guys enjoy yourself! ❤️✌️
A DECADE EASILY
I finance phones lol. I understand the pros and cons to doing so but it's the best solution for me. Pre-ordered the S24 Ultra with Samsung financing at 0% apr. Really excited for this one to arrive. I've had the S10 Plus for around 5 years.
Im in the same boat as you
Me too!
Same! I always pay them off early and no interest.
Can you do that? Seriously considering getting this phone from samsung. That would be awesome. @@Mrshazey28
I did do that aswell... I'm still a student and only work on the side, and thus I feel like, even the option for 4 months is really useful.
Watching on my S24 Ultra violet. It looks so premium and elegant. Love the flat design and anti-glare feature.
I have the same one. I love it
man, I wish that they made the 1tb version in purple, but they didnt. (And yes, I actually do need the 1TB version. Always had to use a sd card, which makes some things annoying.)
@@sakura-valleyI thought about getting the 1TB version, but every 3 months or so I offload all my phone photos and videos to a external HDD anyway.
@@sleepy1171 I do it twice a year, but I travel quite a lot and I usually end up with slightly over 800gigs on my phone including apps and other things like music or movies to download for when I don't have service... While I did use a micro sd card for a few years, I noticed that (at the very least for me) it makes it difficult to properly sort everything when I'm offloading all of it...
Bought it, love it. Received it from Best Buy yesterday and I am in love. Grey Titanium.
I always love your videos. I feel like I’m watching a friend talk about things that I’m also passionate about whenever I watch your videos. Thanks for making content that is simple, practical and of use to average and every day guys like me.
Got mine on the 29th with a great deal by trading my aging Note 10+ and frequent flyer discounts from Samsung. Really like it so far. No harsh words about it, just some of the same nitpicking as others (vivid display, etc). Overall a great piece of tech that (with 7 years of up dates) should last awhile.
I've been very impressed with the quality of this phone, its a little marvel that's fixed most of my issues with android phones in the past (lack of updates after a couple years, etc).
I traded in my S23 Ultra and received a $750 credit towards the S24 Ultra, so the cost wasn't that bad. I do love this phone.
Facts, and they gave another $120 off of that and another $100 to buy cases and etc.
Very minimal difference tho. Flat screen that hides glare,6.7 to 6.8 screen size, lil faster processor and other than that it’s same right 🤷🏽♂️
@bigdrews4360 nah the s23 ultra had the same screen size
Even the washed out Colors?
Not to mention the watch 6 classic was massively discounted with the bundle
Traded in my S22 Ultra for the new 24. Battery life is insane. Beautifully designed phone.
I paid $2,400 outright for my S24 Ultra 1TB here in Australia 🦘 🇦🇺
I hope its a big upgrade on the s22 ultra in that regard. I pre ordered the s24 ultra (still haven't received it) for that very reason
I did the same thing with my s22u. What color did you get?
@@JD_2597I got a s22u. Absolutely nothing wrong with it so it feels strange to upgrade to the S24U. I usually keep my phone's for 4 years before I upgrade. S22 is the phone I've owned for the least amount of time.
@@carerforever2118
Keep it away from kangaroo! 😶
omg i watched your camera reviews years ago! glad to see you on my recommended - i got a S24 U this year after iphone for 12 years so excited to get it
I love my s24 ultra. Been trying out what all it can do emultatuon wise and its really inpressive. Moonlight game streaming with snapdragon upscaling works wonders even over 5g network. At home my network can support 1440p 120 fps local streaming. Avatar looks amazing "running" on this phone.
Thanks for the impressive videos. I have noticed that my s24 ultra doesn't have a great standby time. I lose around 5 - 7% battery on standby by the time i wake up in the morning. Also, the battery seem to drop pretty quickly compared to my 15 pro max.
How is the battery life on yours?
Just found your channel! Great review/analysis! Subscribed!
I used to watch this channel years ago for the a6400 videos i totally forgot 😂 im subbed now!
Thank you for the video. I was getting ready to buy the uag monarch pro case.
Great Share 👍🏻
Had the s23 ultra for a while.. shifted back to the S21 Ultra... 16gb 512gb still a beast..
Waiting for the S24 ultra to gone down a bit here in Mumbai India 😅
New Android user coming from iPhone 15 pro max. I have a lot of mag safe accessories. Does anyone know if the ESR halo ring can cause any internal damage to the s24, like to the battery or other internal components? Was thinking to use a skin wrap and attach the ESR right to the phone. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
Hope to see more samsung content. Just subscribed😊
I got mine yesterday morning, opened the box at noon, on my lunch break, and transfered everything from my Pixel 7 Pro. I spent over 8 hours today sitting in a car dealer service center lobby and put it to good use. Over 90 minutes to start the day JUST opening all my apps and signing in to all the accounts. LOL I was listening to music and watching UA-cam with my Pixel Buds while going through every setting, every Good Lock option, etc and getting things set up ... took some photos, scrolled the socials, generally just found ways to keep myself entertained from the lobby chair from 8am until after 4pm. I still had 10% left in the tank by the time I left around 4:30.
I've said for years that Samsung had lost me until they got rid of the curved screens ... well, they put up, so I shut and and gave them my money. LOL I do love that flat, anti-reflective display. The lack of comic - I mean VIVID - mode doesn't bother me. I always used to put Samsung phones in natural mode anyway. This may well be a 3 or 4 year phone for me, if something shiny doesn't catch my eye. And I still have the Pixel 7 Pro as a backup. My old Note 10+ is going back, because they gave me $535 trade credit for it. How do you turn that down, right?
I'm looking forward to giving DeX another try. I didn't use it much on the Note 10+, but I like that it's there in a pinch. Maybe a little portable USB-C monitor can replace a full laptop with this thing. Worth a try, since I already have it! I do wish the Titanium Violet was a little more shocking purple than deep twilight sky, but it's still cool. I'm digging it. My biggest dilemma is if I want to put a glass screen protector on it and lose the anti-reflective qualities - WHICH I LOVE - put on the Samsung anti-glare protective film, or just leave the screen naked and take my chances on scratches at level 7 with deeper grooves at level 8.
Oh, and the fingerprint sensor!! SO MUCH BETTER than the Pixel .. and the Note 10. I already don't hate this one, which is a feat.
As long 😂you spend this much time on your sweetheart. Don't show her the write-up she get Jello! 🤣 Enjoy your life it's all yours! 💥
I've ordered the violet 1TB version. It's gonna replace my three yo Sony phone, which has served me well over the years. I'm planning to hold on to the ultra for four years at least.
One thing I dont like about the s24 ultra is the navegation bar.
If you swipe from left or right edge it will return, but apps like X and Gmail open a tab if you swipe from the left edge (And I believe many other apps do too). So I'm losing a functionality
And edge panels let you choose if the panel will be on the left or right edge of the screen, navigation bar wont. So would be good if samsung updates this, because I'm right handed and having the return gesture on the left doesnt make sense to me and cost me apps usability
How is your mx anywhere holding up? Mine keeps losing its left click / drag function. Had to replace under warranty twice 😢
Are you going to get the Vision Pro from Apple? Do you think it will work with your Mac mini and will you you still have to get a monitor, or will it work with your Mac mini.
The vivid profile is a software bug.Confirmed by Samsung and should be fixed soon.
I went from S22 Ultra to an iPhone 15 Pro Max (my first Apple since the iPhone 4), hated it, and am now very excited for my new S24 Ultra.
Hi Gary, great video. I got the S23 last year. I definitely see some improvements in the S24- most notably the anti-glare on the screen. The cameras are good but the selfie capabilities still need work vs. the iPhone. AI is still a party trick at this point. I would not upgrade based on the incremental changes. The investment costs are starting to be an issue .
3:22 that saturation effect was awesome.
Slighty brought the dull screen of my S24 ultra to life
I WANT MY SATURATION, I GOT HAPPY FOR 2 SECONDS
I like the feel of my phone in my hand more with a case on. I usually keep an otterbox defender pro on my phones
Truth, brother. I'll be dropping a couple of videos soon too... Screen is next level.
I'm glad you mentioned the bugged vivid mode, I hate it since day one and no reviewers even mentioned it!
Honestly I was having issues with battery overheating a little bit and an occasional lag with having to keep all battery settings on power saving. I was seeing other similar complaints on forums
Just found your channel. You earned a new sub sir 💪
Hey,
Does someone had a slighty gap between the screen and frame in the botton right corner?
Look with the flashlight, with bare eyes you cant see it.
S24u Grey.

WIth seven years of OS and security updates, the base model S24 Ultra at $1300 equate to $186 per year (if kept for seven years). In these terms, one could consider the price affordable. I tend to hold onto phones for 3 to 5 years. Yeah, I am considering the S24 Ultra.
Traded in my S23U for the S24U. Huge discounts. Yes, for me, it's worth it. And I intend to keep this phone for 3 yrs before upgrading.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is like a small gaming PC for mobile games it can even emulate without lag issues. I will get mine tomorrow finally i ordered the 1 TB version in black 🤩 it has more RAM than my laptop 😂
Got the psp emulator and bunch of games ... play gta vice city currently
As you’re coming from an iPhone and the Apple ecosystem (maybe your family is on Apple devices too?), I’d love to see a video about your experience in a “hybrid” iOS / Android home. Did you migrate out of iMessage - have all new messages sent to you come thru, for example?
Got mine before the release date. Love it! I'm a Samsung Fanboy. Have been since my Note5 days. There's so much that can be done on this phone, I probably won't get to all of it, but, you do get what you pay for. I enjoy my high end tech toys, and this phone is definitely that. I do love the AI functions, especially for making screen savers. It's just an awesome piece of tech.
I love my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra! Thanks for your great videos! :)
Nice! Glad you are enjoying it!
I've had mine for about a week., upgrading from the S22 Ultra. I was underwhelmed initially, but I'm liking it more and more each day.
The screen is amazing. Side by side it blows other phones away.
The UI is so smooth and so fast, it feels premium and is a pleasure to use. It's impossible to make it lag.
The fingerprint scanner never misses and is instant
The cameras are genuinely better in terms of colour and detail
They've finally fixed the battery and it lasts more than a day even with heavy use which is a game changer
The AI additions are largely gimmicks, circle to search and press for slo-mo are okay
The sharp corners don't bother me as it went straight into a case
The S Pen feels nicer- although I use it like once a month
The microphones have improved judging by the fact I don't have to repeat myself to elderly relatives
Just bought the s24 ultra, upgrading from an s22 ultra. I felt my s22 ultra really slowed down recently, hoping for much better performance out of the new phone
I was hoping to get some insight from S22 Ultra users for an upgrade. This works!!
Same @@ConorB150
Nice, glad to hear you are enjoying it!
Lol, I'm gonna be upgrading from an S9 Plus
Grabbed on myself a few days ago! Coming from an iPhone 13 mini, this thing is crazy in size and functionality! Glad I made the swap though
Wow. From a 13 mini to an S24 Ultra? Anyway, you will get the hang of it (in terms of size).
@Gurenn83 I had the s22u before the 13 mini so I've been up and down in size but for straight up content creation etc the Samsung wins every time
I have a 12 mini and love the form factor. I have been using an iPhone for over the last 7-8 years and now bored of it. I love the Apple ecosystem and its convenience but I want to switch to Android and thought about the ultra but I have small hands so the size wants keeps me on the fence along with whether I would get used to Android or not
@jawadqaisrani3244 oh 100% the form factor is amazing on the mini phones but as you said, they are just boring. Also I was smashing the battery life by having to charge it twice a day. I don't have that issue anymore with the ultra.
@@iiTzGraham Yes my battery capacity has reached to a 81%. Have it for the past 3 years. Overall it is a great phone and I love it. But I have all my notes, photos, reminders and stuff like that that seamlessly sync with my macbook and iPad so just not sure how to keep on syncing my other devices while using an android device. Any tips on that?
On Samsungs there are no restrictions when mirroring sporting events , PPV , all streaming apps I've tried. On apple there is and also just found out its restricted on pixels. I use screen mirroring and or dex on my Samsung to a projector when camping with my family and extended family. Samsung is Great and waiting for my s24 ultra next week.
"Don't finance a phone" most of the people in the big carriers are financing their phone...
Especially when they are free with the monthly credits.
I've learned over time that financing your phone sucks.. it locks you into a carrier that might just suck by the time you are ready to "upgrade"
You are better off buying it outright
@Coldpack13 it's not free when the price of the line increases due to changing plans so you can get those credits
Some plans yes, others no
Haven't done it once. I would never recommend. Nothing but trouble.
got it with ATT for 1000$ off with google pixel 7 pro trade in!
phone is like 8$ a month with a 30$ line
What server and race /class?
Wait the s-pen clicks? I didn't know that. Thanks for telling us! What does clicking of the S-pen do?
Also, which way am l supposed to put the pen into the phone? Is it the button side up?
So every time I click the S- Pen my girlfriend's clothes drop to the floor. Incredible feature, but she got a little embarrassed at the pub.
If you use the Samsung shop app and trade in a phone you can get a great discount, and why hang on to a phone you won't use? I got an S24 Ultra 512g and Galaxy buds pro2 and traded in my S21Ultra and paid $837. Still a lot of money but way better than $1300. I also got my wife an S24+ 512 G, Galaxy Buds2 pro, a case, and a screen protector for $670 after trading in an S21+... So great phones with great support and we loved the S21 phones and so these are gonna be great
I too am trading in my S21 ultra. Cannot wait!!
Yep absolutely, the trade in options from Samsung are amazing, I think I got my z flip 5 for like $199 last year.
Does a clear glass screen protector make it more reflective? Does a matte glass screen protector make it too blurry?
I bought a matt screenprotector.
Yes and even samsung anti reflection film has more reflection then just the glass
"Do not finance a phone." Threw the whole review into the bin.
Literally 😂
Wanted the S24 but got the Oneplus12 Pro, Gary a review of it and comparing to s24 could be nice
This is the best review I've seen so far. I really feel like the youtube reviewers downplay everything. This phone has been amazing. It's the best Phone I ever owned and out of pocket after the trade-in and everything else I got the 512 GB with 2 years Samsung Care for about $760
You can trade in Galaxy phones or iPhones to Samsung and you can usually get a Galaxy Ultra phone every year for around $450.00 - $650.00. Here's a real-life example. I own the S22 Ultra; if I traded in my phone, I could have got the S24 Ultra for $650.00 using Samsung's pre-sale. That price will probably go down to around $400.00 at some point. Also, if you have an iPhone, Samsung will give you really good trade-in values for your phone.
Let me help you out. DXOMark just proclaimed that the S24 Ultra has the best smartphone display it has ever tested. So, yes, officially, the S24 Ultra does have the best display ever made.
Yeah the Samsung trade in values are awesome, I think I got my z flip 5 for $199 last year.
I traded in My S22 in as an early upgrade to get this S24 Ultra and i love it! The battery life is amazing, for example taking it off the charger at 624am at 79 percent it didnt die till 11pm or so!! Today taking it off the charger at 10:30 am at 79 percent i have now 47 percent of life and charging is incredible. I mean 28 seconds per percentage is INCREDIBLE. And soo much more to to love about this phone as im also still learning lol
The fact that samsung always goes with good or amazing trade in deals its the best to buy.
😊
My s24ultra arrives on the 19th so im very excited. I ordered the blue so I have to wait alot longer for delivery and traded my s23 128gb for £460 off with a student discount so I ended up paying £651 for a 512gb s24ultra and a free galaxy watch 6.
I fully expected the click click click click click at the end to be done with the S-Pen.
yeah i could read the stuff on the phone when you were talking about the folding key pad
I wondered if anyone would comment on it lol
@@TheEverydayDad wow I am a very good viewer and I am surprised you replied as big UA-camrs don’t reply dedicated dude
Bought the phone and man i loved it its a masterpiece made by samsung the cameras are amazing the battery life is just at the top and the display blows my mind though this phone is expensive the samsung credit helped me out wonderful phones of course you can buy it if you have the money
Stimming with the clicks 😂
What dies he mean why financing a phone? I pre-ordered mine using my providers service. 24 months, 0% financing. That's already included in my plan. Or does he mean buying a phone with straight up credit, like a plastic card?
I like to have the state-of-the-art phone at any given time, and AT&T offers good trade-in deals, so I consider it just renting a phone. I budget for the "rental" cost each month.
Got a $1000 trade-in at Verizon for my old s21 Ultra and managed to get this bad boi for $360. Loving it so far.
Does anyone know why Samsung removed the native video (I think it was Duo) option from S24? Now you have to use Google Meet but i really liked having it as part of my phone. Btw, I'm trading in my S23U and at first I was underwhelmed but I'm starting to really like my S24U (with exception of the vivid issue)
Samsung didn't do anything. Duo has been sunset for almost a year now. Google meet is it's replacement
The screen problem will be fixed with an update, Samsung stated this.
Link to where they made that statement?
I traded in my iPhone 15 Pro and got $750 credit towards my S24 Ultra. I'm enjoying the phone but wish at this price it was a foldable. Maybe it's just me but the cost is in the foldable phone territory like my Z Fold 5. I am getting used to the color calibration on the S24 Ultra but I must say I was not happy at first, since Samsung didn't address this during Unpacked! I agree this is a great portable productivity machine with a BT keyboard and mouse I can do work remotely from a coffee shop if needed. What are your thoughts on the S24 and S24+?
Love the S Pen but will miss the micro SD Card slot in this model 😢
What folding keyboard do you use?
You can find it in the accessories video, I don't remember the exact model.
@@TheEverydayDad Found it when I subscribed to your channel, thanks
My grandma is going to love this phone
Great video as usual....from another Ohioan...ha!!!....but it's hard to switch to that phone when I have Macbook/MacAir/iPad watch etc....the Samsung phones are so good compared to my 15 Pro Max...but to make that switch is so hard....don't know how you do it...
Just takes a leap of faith. 😂 That’s what I plan on doing soon
I have same issue but with my research Google or Microsoft suite/cloud would be great to move everything and transfer everything over. Since you have Mac you can still use iMessage ( on those devices on phone you need an app). You can FaceTime from those machines not phone. For me the thing that is preventing me to move over is Apple Card that is something that you cannot move to Samsung phone.
It's really tough to switch. It's not the hardware or the software that's the problem. It's that once you get setup with your family stuff in apple systems, there just is very little incentive to try and recreate that somewhere else. Its not as exciting as the blue bubble/green bubble conversations, its the boring everyday stuff that makes it hard to switch.
@@TheEverydayDad Once the conversion takes place and Apple now uses next texting methods I believe that Green and Blue wont be that bad. Green will still mean non Apple but all features you want (read/unread messages, typing a response bubbles, quality photo/video shares, group messages) will be there. The real down fall from having an android in the family will be no quick easy and quality Group FaceTime calls.
Holding both in my hand, my s23u feels like a more premium device than the s24u. I have a few more day's left of using both until i have to decide which to keep and which one is going back to Samsung. It's going to be a tough decision, but as of now i am leaning towards sending the s24u back and keeping my s23u.
Spectrum is offering 700 dollars off, plus the trade-in for your old phone. I got $800 total off my new S24 Ultra. I will only be paying between 450 to a little over 500 that is left on the balance for this phone. Not too shabby😁
I pre-ordered my S24 ulta 1TB. They gave me $750 credit for my S23 Ultra 1TB and $260 discount plus $150 credit. All said and done my S24 1TB is costing me $815 with tax. I also got the charger, ear buds FE, and screen protector with the credit. Can't wait !!
I'm loving my S24ULTRA, it's been absolutely amazing!
I think I'm gonna buy it, but in like half a year, so that the price will lower and I hope I will be able to sell back my S22+ 256Go light blue for a good price (currently worth about 500€)
I got the S24 Ultra on a pre-order from T-Mobile and got a free upgrade to 512gb and $1000 back on my S23+ trade in. I think I got a great deal and really like all that the S24 Ultra can do. I was a loyal Apple user until last year. I got tired of Apple not supporting products past their useful life such as my MacBook Pro 2015. It runs the current OS easily with no issues. I guess I will be a Widows user for life too.
ATT trade in deal seemed insanely good and let me get $1000 off trading in my old S21. My 24 Ultra comes Monday!
I just purchased the S24U. Here's why I got it over other options.
I would have gone for the OnePlus 12 (I currently own the 7T), but no word yet when they officially release in my country. No pixels here either.
S24+ seemed like the no brainer choice... until news of the Exynos. Maybe Exynos has got it sh*t together but I'm not about to be the guinea pig. I plan to use this phone for a long time.
The promos on the S24 series actually make them cheaper than the current S23 series.
I’m having massive messaging issues switching from iPhones. Have deactivated imessage. But nothing comes thru.. .. .
Apple is so terrible... Even when you leave, they fuck you over and make people switch back to them because nothing works anymore.
I financed my S24 Ultra but that's mainly because the 512 model was the same price as the 256 and 3 years of downpayment with no additional cost over those 3 years.
Also didnt need to sign up for anything. So a great deal
Yeah this guy said that at the beginning of the video and it makes me think he knows nothing about how financing phones works in general. Like he thinks it's the same as buying it with a credit card or something? Idk
@@yusuf8938 Yeah the 256 and 512 costs $1500 here in Norway and after 3 years i will only pay a total of $1500. No interest or additional costs hehe
Still much better deal in India where we get I phone 15 pro Max for close to $2000
Some people have to finance a phone as the only option of getting the phone they want. Not everyone has 1300 dollars to spend outright on a phone.
I love my S24 Ultra!! I got the orange and traded in my Note20Ultra for it. The trade in deals came in clutch! I saved nearly 700 dollars on my purchase!
I too traded (or will be trading in when it comes by mail) my well-loved Note20Ultra for the S24Ultra. I hope I will enjoy it for a long time to come. And, with 7 years of updates, it sounds like I will be ok.
I too traded in (or will as soon as my phone gets here in the mail) my well-loved Note 20Ultra for the S24 Ultra. I hope to keep it and enjoy it for a long time. And, with 7 years of upgrades, sounds like I will.
@gisare elesmith7795 are you still waiting for it to ship? Been waiting days for it to at least ship.
@@CharlesVanexX It came yesterday late in the day. I have an appointment with a Verizon agent to get it set up this weekend. I would do it but every time I have ever done it myself I ended up having to get something on the phone redone by them. I am just not tech saavy, I guess.
The orange looks so much better than I thought it would, it looks way better on the ultra than it does on the regular.
Biggest issue with android phones is battery degradation. You can say whatever you want about iPhone but battery remains solid for years. I wonder if you have anything to add about Galaxy S line phones. Will battery hold power after 4 years, is battery replaceable? Thanks
No one factors in the 7 years of security updates and os updates when it comes to the price, software also has a cost just like hardware does
Bro said "I'm not doing not doing the funny thumbnail here"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I still think the Galaxy Note 20 ultra is the nicest looking phone Samsung has ever produced that or the galaxy S7
Upgraded from an iPhone 7+ to the s24 ultra.
Had the old one for 8 yrs…
God I’ve been living in the dark ages.😂😂😂
7:19 did you say Ultra 2 as in Apple Watch Ultra 2 ? 😂
I only paid 450$ and some
change for my s24 ultra 512gb. The monthly payment wont bankrupt me lol
The trade-in options and discounts they do really can save you 750 off the device
Idk if it matters but you shared your phones IMEI number
Can you game on dex ,like genshin on dex on external display?
Yes... It's heavenly especially with a nice monitor😊...
Returned it back So what's the point of vivid and natural when vivid mode is like adding 2% saturation only?? Vivid mode is supposed to look VIVID and NOT NATURAL
Thanks for the video , you won me over....
Huh! I have at&t. I received $1000 off and double my storage for free with monthly payments, no interest at all. I think it was a GREAT deal.
Good cameras and nobody can seem to get a full hd picture of a UFO
Absolutely finance phones if it's 0%. That is the smart thing to do when even HYSA rates right now are ~5%. It's free money. That was bad advice. Rest of the video is great.
I agree. Always good to not drop $1000+ all at once when you can just spread it out and not pay interest.
I've always lived by "don't finance luxuries" and I consider the s24 ultra a luxury.
@@TheEverydayDad I get that and I would agree it's definitely a luxury. It just makes financial sense from a math point of view to get 0%. You are being paid to borrow money right now.
It's the same reason you would not want to pay off a 2.5% mortgage right now. Your savings account is paying you 5% to just keep the cash there. You're making money by keeping it in a savings account and paying it off at a lower rate than you're making in interest.
I DO 100% agree with the statement "especially if you're a kid," though.
@TheEverydayDad Not a smart blanket statement to make at all.
Got mine is a 512gb for $300🎉

I traded my Pixel 7 for the regular S24. It's a decent phone and the fingerprint reader is MUCH more consistent. It's a second phone for me as my main phone is the 14 Pro Max. I'm staying with Apple for awhile. The S24 Ultra is an awesome phone though. It has some things I'd like to see on an iPhone but the perfect phone doesn't exist. There are trade-offs that need to be considered. I told a buddy that has a Note 9 that he should upgrade. He'd love this phone.
