- In today's video we take you with us out to the southern part of Bali in a place called Uluwatu. We spend an hour driving there with a few friends coming from Canggu via mopeds/scooters. After arrival, we check out a few different things around the city before finishing off the day hanging by the beach and checking out some of the local markets.

we love it here at the moment. Uluwatu is a really good place to be at the moment. Not so packed and the traffic is much better than in Canggu :)

I was surprised that you didn't bargain at all when buying those stuffs. Just a tip from an Indonesian, you could bargain down to about 40-50% actually. If they refuse, maybe try to give a bit more, just to allow them getting some decent profit. I normally bargain around 50%, if they say no, I will try to walk away. If they call you back, that means they have made a quite decent profit out of it. Some Indonesians are even worse, they could try to bargain up to 70-80%, let's not do that, it's quite terrible. Everyone's doing business, and they need profits. A Barong Bali shirt, they usually say it is 60-70k rupiah, but you could buy it at around 30k actually. Nice video by the way!

I have a quick question for the UK boys.
We are travelling from the UK and enquired about an International Driving Permit for scooter hire. We were told to contact the embassy as Indonesia was not specifically listed at the Post Office (we read up on this and were told to get the 1949). The embassy have now asked us to contact the local police as we need to undergo tests and fill out forms directly with the Bali police. It all seems a little complicated and unclear.
Can you shed some more light on this if possible?
