Ford Explorer Power Seat Not Working FIX

I’ve seen a number of these 2020+ model year Explorers with power seat problems end up being a blown fuse due to a mis-routed lumbar support wire harness causing the wires to pull out of the connector. While you might be able to take the connector apart and repair the terminals and wires, I find it simpler to replace this portion of the seat harness. - Авто та транспорт
Part number is in the description, hopefully this helps!
Thank you so much. I've changed a seat module, memory seat switch, and seat adjustment switch as well as sunken 9 total hours into a vehicle with this issue. This video saved the day.
Great job, nice to see there are still some honest mechanics around like yourself 👍
What a amazing find to share with everyone! I could see that driving someone crazy trying to find where the short is happening!
That’s why I shared it! It drove me nuts trying to figure this out until I finally did.
Top stuff Daniel mate who thought of a automotive issue could be quite a common problem but a easy fix remedy just by simply replacing a dead or faulty part etc.
Great video, I’m going to try this. Thanks!
Good find! We are having that issue
My problem is the previous owner had my 21 explorer worked on and the tech took the wire out of the plug that connects to the seat and i cannot find a diagram to pit the pons back in. Any help?
Can you do a video on how to take apart the sunglass holder. Dealer wants to charge 300...
Thank you soo much
Does it matter what wire goes where when installing the new plug?
Could this be the problem for my 2011 ford explorer??
The Seat only goes back and not forward. Do you think it's this same problem?
I have the same issue but on the passenger side
I have a a 2020 Ford Explorer. When I try to recline or sit straight up, the back support becomes twisted. Do you think this can fix the problem?
My problem is the opposite. My power seats work but it won’t hold memory correctly. It’ll keep creeping forward each time I get in it. I just shut easy access off. Dealer said they couldn’t find a problem
Thanks.
This is SO helpful and exactly the problem I'm having!! Thank you!! What was the part number?
Glad it helped! Here is the part number:

You should do an update video on the Excursion if you still have it! I miss that thing
He just sold it five months ago with 385,000 miles saw it on his personal Facebook
I’m having this issue now, does anyone know the part I need to order to fix it?
Was looking for something similar to fix my passenger seat "Power seat switch" but glad I saw this,
As a heavier guy, it might be worth checking to see if its routed wrong before it goes out. Looks like it can be disconnected, routed properly and reconnected if its not already damaged?
I did everything is still not working. What can be the issue
What was the name of the part or part number
So basically that was wired wrong at the factory/routed incorrectly.. lol
Probably misrouted at the seat supplier plant. I learned from Zoom Court that there's a lot of meth heads at those jobs.
Basically yes
@@DanielJaegerFilms hello
My ford dealership service center some $2000 to change whole seat control
Ford should recall this but when has ford recalled things they didn't do right?
