  • We built this amazing Star Wars MOC by OneCase during our 24 Hours #LegoMegaStream on May 2nd 2020, a charity event where we were fundraising for the Snow Leopard Trust and Pallas's Cat International Conservation Alliance. We didn't completely finish the set on stream, and needed 5 more hours the day after. It turned out amazingly! And we raised $770 during the stream! =D
    Thank you all for the support!

    By far the longest Lego build you have ever placed on your custom-built Lego turntable! I enjoyed every sped up minute of this. It was interesting to see the additional views you put up showing the installation of some of the sub builds (which were large enough by themselves) like the panels, the city sections, the engine components (and the odd view of Vega yawning). Its a real monster undertaking doing something so large. As a designer, I was trying to imagine how much time the person who worked on this moc put into research so that they could design it so realistically. Well done for building it! You are among those few who have put together a Lego creation so incredibly large and detailed. 😀👏👏👏

      Thanks Rogue!
      This definitely beat many of my records. =D I had to remove the two small pillar supports on either end as they would have jutted out on each side of the turntable. XD
      Glad you liked enjoyed the extra editing. Wanted to do something more, and give a little clearer view when attaching them, as those parts flashes by in seconds at this timelapse speed 170x!

    • @legolamaniac
      @legolamaniac  4 роки тому +2

      Lego is quite expensive to import to my country (Norway) so what I paid for it might not translate well to where you are. It very much depends on country and the shipping and import prices. and available bricklink stores. Probably easier and cheaper to get all the parts if you are in the United Kingdom or United States. But yes, it is quite costly, expect to spend more than £650.

      755 doesn't match up with attaching anything in my instructions, so maybe they have been updated since then, and your timestamp is off, so I am just going to assume you mean attaching the wing to the underside. That is the step everyone has trouble with because it is actually impossible without removing the 1x2 Black Brick with Axle hole from the front support pillar, the one that is interfering with attaching the wing properly. Or modify the wing construction so it no longer would hit the brick when attaching the wing.

    Did MouldKing Copy this from OneCase?

    • @legolamaniac
      @legolamaniac  3 роки тому

      That they did. They steal all their designs. Do not use them.

      I've been wanting this for a while would you recommend getting this onecase custom or the real Lego super star destroyer

    • @legolamaniac
      @legolamaniac  3 роки тому

      @@PNS84 Both are great options. So it all depends on your budget and at which price you can get each at. If you are spending a lot of money anyway, then go for the Dreadnought by OneCase.

    I do it in 33 hours: somewhere in the Finistère (France). You can see the post here (with a lot of pictures): forum.brickpirate.net/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=24157

    Is that really lego or is it a fake? Because on amazon this only costs 400$ and has 7200 pcs and the millenuim falcon costs 800$ and has 6000 pcs

    • @legolamaniac
      @legolamaniac  4 роки тому

      It is not an official Lego set, but I used real Lego bricks building it. It is designed by OneCase. Any being sold that cheap on Amazon is most likely fake and unlicensed.

    Do you think the executer class Star dreadnought is easier/harder than the millennium falcon set 75192

    • @legolamaniac
      @legolamaniac  4 роки тому

      This one is definitely more difficult to build than the Falcon. This one barely holds itself together and attaching all those tiny pieces really wears on your fingertips. XD

    LEGO did it big enough (look at the front) and it looks far better. The midi scale one looks better...

    Came here to see how you mastered step 755
    You didn't lol, just like me
    Everyone who built this monster will know very well what step 755 is :) (hell)

    • @legolamaniac
      @legolamaniac  4 роки тому

      No one masters step 755. XD I had seen the issue mentioned, but it was a while ago so I assumed that the creator had fixed it of course. I only learned again that it is dangerous to assume. =P
