    This is very interesting to me. I love plantain but always wait for it to ripen before using it.
    Now thanks to you I have a delicious recipe to try out with green plantain. 😋 I'll be trying this one soon for sure!

    Thank you Joanne for this interesting recipe.
    I am looking for recipes using green plantain for my elderly father who is anemic. I'm excited to try this one. However I'm curious if frying it affects the iron content compared with boiled green plantain. Any thoughts?

    Looks good but I'm curious to know if it gets hard over time. Like say an hr later is it soft. Providing I don't eat all one time?

      It actually stays nice and soft, it just loses some of the crunch but it does not get hard at all

    Can u use ripe plantain

    • @JOANNESKITCHEN2021
      @JOANNESKITCHEN2021  Рік тому

      The one with the ripe plantain is slightly different since its sweet and you don't have to use the peppers, onions or chives

    Why grate the plantain if it will go into the food processor to make a butter texture.

    • @JOANNESKITCHEN2021

      Grating makes it easier to blend because of the sticky nature of the plantain larger chunks may not come out as smooth
