I don't know if there's ever been anyone like him, with his size and speed. Only man to ever walk the planet that had a 2000 yard season in high school, college and the NFL. Think about that for a minute,he's a beast and he works very hard to be the best he can be. His workouts are crazy.
As far as size and speed goes, I feel that it’s fair to say Brandon Jacobs was definitely one of those guys. He was actually 15+ pounds bigger & just .2 seconds slower than Henry. Eric Dickerson is also a notable mention.
@@jordanadkins9656 I wouldn’t put him there yet. But he is absolutely ahead of pace to be imo. I always wait till the end of a players career to decide EXCEPT for Brady lol
As a struggling niner fan, Henry has become my favorite RB to watch. I think his strength is in his hair. He is so powerful. I hope he gets close to another 2k year again.
King Henry never celebrated or get overly cocky or arrogant on any of his TD runs.... I love that he's a TITANS and wanted to play for the TITANS for many more years to come.
could tell by watching hiim in college that hed be something special. it was either a huge run, or hes cracking people and taking 5 defenders down with him
When you look at his runs his deceptive speed gives the impression that he is not running that fast but he is plus the long strides helps him in separation from the defense.
Exactly what I was thinking, just look at the backs and safeties sprinting full speed behind him with 50% more tempo but losing ground, he just moves like a giant lol
Imagine bouncing outside real late and KNOWING that the corner and the safety that have the angle have ZERO chance of even touching you. Man, what an absolute monster
I always thought it was funny how Leonard Fournette was more highly regarded pretty much every step of the way but Henry showed him up at every level. Fournette was the #1 rated recruit and did the Heisman pose before his first game at LSU but Henry ended up winning the Heisman. Fournette was drafted much earlier than Henry but Henry is having a Hall of Fame carrer while Fournette is just a role player.
Bama ending Fournetts chances when they held him to like 30 something yards that game. Ruben Foster hit him on a punt/kick off return and knocked his ass sideways and Bama owned his ass that day.
I'm a diehard OU fan, and the Sooners faced Bama in the 2013 orange bowl. Henry was a true freshman that year. OU won that game, but Henry made the OU defense look silly. During the game, I said out loud to my dad that Henry is gonna win a Heisman at Bama. And did he ever. Bama probably beats OU that day if they just gave him the ball more. Glad they didn't! He's literally built like a machine, made in a lab. He's just physically DIFFERENT
The offense that Tua opened up was something that I don't know that I will ever be able to experience as a fan again. But man, part of me misses the elite strangling defenses of Bama with a RB like Henry to wear out opposing offenses.
He reminds me of that diesel truck that they mounted a jet engine on the back of it. I'm just glad I got to see him play in person at Bama. He is a rare talent.

Dude had a 4k season in high school too lmao wild
Marcus Dupree
Bo Scarborough was sooo similar to Derrick Henry. Was like Alabama was cloning these dudes lol
Still can't believe the Titans got him in the 2nd round.
Its cause hes a RB, high risk. Plus at his size scouts assumed he would be prone to injury at the professional level.
And with the titans 4th pick!
@travis he's dominated good defenses .
@travis you not remember the Patriots and Ravens? Both had top defenses.
travis Um patriots?
Most of his highlights is against top-notch defense, can't do nothing but respect it.
Just bc the team is ranked doesn’t mean anything about the defense 😂
@@johngarrett9310 you didnt watch his last season lol all he did was torch great defenses.
@@johngarrett9310 The defenses he played his Heisman campaign were on another level and he made them look weak!

It’s like a varsity running back vs a 7th grade team except it’s even like that in the highest level of the game the NFL
Terminator
Greatest running back ever
@@jordanadkins9656 I wouldn’t put him there yet. But he is absolutely ahead of pace to be imo. I always wait till the end of a players career to decide EXCEPT for Brady lol
You are absolutely correct
His run speed is insane.. it doesn’t look like his legs are moving that fast but NO ONE can catch up. Supernatural elite athlete.
Henry's speed and toughness is inspiring to watch. One of the best ever!
I'm so impressed with his speed and agility for such a big guy...
Hes fast but not quick he runs with power
he should've gotten 2 years as the feature back... might've won the Heisman twice
kjothomas gotta master pass blocking before you get to be a feature back at Bama
He’s like a create-a-player in madden. So big and strong but he also has elite vision and underrated breakaway speed
My favorite Bama RB. He could hit that hole and explode out with unbelievable speed
Justin Whittington seriously, he was 6’3” and around 250. It was ridiculous watching a man that big out run defensive backs
He was my absolute favorite Alabama running back too. His size made him so unorthodox.
@Uncle Joe Julio Jones? Calvin Ridley?
@Uncle Joe I can see Julio being HOF player eventually
@Uncle Joe Why are you looking at Alabama Highlights?
Who's here when he won against Baltimore

The Ohio state game still pisses me off! THEY COULD NOT STOP HENRY yet we decide to stop running him and throw with Blake sims! Made no sense
I can watch him run all day. A superior talent.
No one can stop this man. He truly is the scariest RB in the world. Everyone’s afraid to tackle him.
He was so good. He was so unstoppable. Big, strong, and fast.

No, not was, IS
He’s stiff arm is dangerous 💪🏾
Ridiculous
Landon Liddell the stiff arm at 4:00 sums it up.
Roll Tide
Trust kkkkk
Landon Liddell earl thomas is well aware
Ramsey is week aware
Titans have had a history of having good backs. Eddie George, Chris Johnson, and now Derrick Henry.
Dylan Cannon earl Campbell
smoothcollected ly dale was ok he was the primary guy like the others
Shawn white
Dylan Cannon had Murray for a year or two as well
And now Josh Jacobs
I could play quarterback for Alabama. Just give Henry the ball and get out of his way.
He could’ve stayed one more season for 2016-2017. One of my favorite modern running backs for Alabama. Miss him playing for Alabama.
Lost two straight sugar bowls because he wasn't given the ball enough.
Damn right! He should've gotten more carries against OU! I'll never understand the play calling in that one!
Shayne Crimsontide lane kiffin, he sucks
Alabama just sucked lol
@@papabear3525 Alabama sucks? Then how did they win 5 championships since 2009?
Down field blocking could have been better too
He is so insane. The fact they didn't use him in TEN for 2 years is a crime

@@User5454-j2k same hahaha!
they really tried to start deon lewis over him 🤣🤣🤣 another crime
This man seen more 50's and 60's than a retirement community. Man of the year!!!
Everybody else looked so small and slow compared to Derek Henry. Thanks for the great memories and thrills. Roll Tide forever!
As a struggling niner fan, Henry has become my favorite RB to watch. I think his strength is in his hair. He is so powerful. I hope he gets close to another 2k year again.
Henry smashing the Ravens brought me here... Mans a beast!
and now he’s with them
now hes on the ravens
He's by far one of the most entertaining players I've ever seen
That man is a beast! Exciting to watch him play!
Whose here after Henry best the pats
After ravens here
The acceleration vs OK was UNBELIEVABLE
I was expecting to see him run guys over but at the college level they couldnt even get their hands on him, gotta respect this mans talent
He was clearly a cut above.
5 years later.. doing the same thing in NFL...MY BOY Derrick Henry!! TIDE STILL ROLLING!!!!
He is one of the best things that happened to our team, so happy to see him dominate the entire NFL.
This is a pretty good o-line highlight reel. He's untouched on most these runs
John Katz that’s what I was thinking
So fast for a big man. That acceleration though.......
As a diehard Titans fan, it is such a blessing to have him on the team
Best college running back.
This video kinda functions as an Alabama o line highlights as well. Henry was able to get to the secondary with ease in a lot of these
Henry is the best RB in the history of Alabama football.
King Henry never celebrated or get overly cocky or arrogant on any of his TD runs.... I love that he's a TITANS and wanted to play for the TITANS for many more years to come.
Clemson fan but one of my favorite players to watch when he played for bama. Players just bounce off him and still do.
Damn even college players ran away from Henry when he had the ball. That’s how you know this man is more of a man then men.
look like a monster playing among children 👹🤕
This dude is a stud. What a baller.
Here after Titans beat the Ravens 2020.
so inspirational 🙏🏽
Even when he's falling down it takes more than one defensive player to get him down. Incredible

prelude what he's done in the NFL, always found the hole, just like he's doing now. I'm glad he's back to help Tennessee get to the playoffs
What’s crazy his professional highlights is better than college it usually be the other way around 💯
He pushed that Michigan st guy down with his pinkie
he spun earl thomas 180 degrees bro
He’s a beast, I loved watching him in collage
This dude is a genius.
Thing about Henry is he got stronger as the game went!
He might be the best RB in Alabama History
Who’s here after Henry demolished the ravens???
Man I'm so glad we had him.
Great highlights I just wish they would have come in chronological order starting from his freshman year and ending with the Clemson game in 2015.
When you look at his runs his deceptive speed gives the impression that he is not running that fast but he is plus the long strides helps him in separation from the defense.
