I love the way people look at him like he's some kind of Alien. HOW DARE someone express themselves in a unique way, instead of mindlessly wandering from shop to shop consuming as much as their wallets will allow. In a vain attempt to fill the void before they have to return back to a job they hate in a world that causes them little more than anxiety and emptiness. HOW DARE HE! Oh my gosh, I feel the same way. There is this beautiful creature with a voice part alien, part angel pouring his vulnerability out on the street and they pass on by as if they are deaf and blind. It's like sitting in the Sistine Chapel flipping through the H&M catalogue.
Wearing a dress will put off a lot of older people who might have stopped and listened. Everyone has the right to dress how they want, and other people have the right to have an opinion on it. Yes, I know it's not a 'dress' this time, but Romaine does. I've watched loads of 'The Big Push' videos.
The "older people who might have stopped and listened" can not see the dress you have in your mind. BTW, I'm a straight, 78-year-old guy, and have no problem with Romain's clothing choices. His talent is a joy! 😎
