    Today's modern warehouses demand higher levels of autonomy, requiring a new generation of automated box opening. Proven in operations worldwide, the M1 series ABOT® features multiple 3D technologies that evaluate box conditions and opening. ABOT® makes split-second decisions for each box.
    The new generation ABOT® M1 measures tops, corners, and sides with high resolution in three dimensions. The three-dimensional cut path is often non-linear and spans a range of vertical and horizontal points matching the actual top of the box.
    Before measuring, ABOT® creates a 3D point cloud on incoming boxes in the induction zone. Incoming containers are checked for severe damage, size, shape, orientation, and position on the conveyor.
    Cutting a box imparts force, and stability is paramount while cutting to avoid damage to contents. Structural integrity is wide-ranging. Variety in SKUs and a considerable variation in corrugate materials require intelligent stabilization. ABOT vision-controlled robotic box stabilizer adjusts for different box heights and widths. Clamping force is variable and controlled based on real-time measurements.
    FANUC-powered ABOTs process over 1000 boxes per hour!
    Expanded box size range is the largest in the industry with a minimum box size of 6” L x 4” W x 2” H maxing out at 30” L x 24” W x 24” H. Larger boxes are handled with the oversized option going to 40” L x 26” W x 26” H.
