I got my first ticket on one of these, X army Indian, I left a school maths exam early got the bike out and was pulled over by a motorcycle cop, the ticket was for no helmet, no registration, no warrant of fitness and no license , the cop allowed me to ride it home, which was just around the corner, for two weeks I beat mum to the letter box I didn’t want to upset her by finding out that I was going to get a court summons, arrrrr those were the days, how quick 70 years has passed, I failed the maths exam 😂😂
Dear Bingbong,I Lmao,I got a 95 in a 45 mph ticket 43 years ago and had to intercept the mail for a month. Didn’t want my parents to find out I lost my license.
Man, what a beautiful motorcycle! That would be a dream bike, as a fan of Indian Motorcycle, for me. I hope you find a way to keep it. It needs to stay in your museum.
What a beautiful bike! 1937 Indian chief, now I see why Harley-Davidson was having problems going against that lot of history in that 1937 Indian chief. Sir I can't wait to see it at your museum I love how it sounds like it wants to trot away everything about a 1937 Indian chief is a story. Thank you sir. Amazing extremely rare. You got the 1937 Indian chief and then on top 1943 very highly collectible machines. Indian has a long history. Thank you sir it's the best bike so far out of all the videos it's absolutely phenomena❤❤ amazing info on that Indian chief 1937
Quality, all the American tanks have Quality threads /bolts 🔩 nuts , are old English stuff like Tanks are all over the place with AF Metric /Whitworth crap ,the same tank can have different size nuts 😀, all the Shermans are so beautiful and easy to put together because you know all the bolts 🔩 are the same measurements and high quality steel
Absolutely stunning to say the least! I have a 2016 Springfield and it's a fantastic machine. A friend of my wife's family has a couple old 40s Ford and Pontiacs and he gave me an Indian ad from a March 1920 newspaper. It's of an Indian Scout Model G-20. It's full page and lists the Hendee Manufacturing Company Department 38 Springfield MA. Boasts of 11 1/2 HP and 75 mpg. So cool!
Masterpiece is exactly what it is, I am so Jealous!! What I would give to ride that thing one time. Father told me about his before I was ever thought of. This is one video I will watch over and over, I don't believe it gets any better then that.
Damn id love to have that in my collection 😊 An absolutely stunning example of a classic machine! Would definitely be ridden regularly like it should !
If i were able to keep this incredible '37 Indiana in the New England motorcycle museum, in your care, Ken, I'd do it with no questions asked! I believe it should stay right were it is!
My farmer neighbor has a Indian chief in his barn and a old Harley knucklehead been sitting for 30 or 40 years said he thought about scraping them but there probably worth restoring maybe?
Ken, I like your channel, but I’m going to have to respectfully correct you on something. Indians did NOT have a suicide clutch, nor a suicide shifter. They have a “hand shifter” and “heal/toe clutch” BIG difference! The suicide shifters was a spring-loaded pedal like a car. And a suicide shifter or “jockey shifter” is were you reach down to the gearbox and change gears. Those are Harley things, NOT Indian. If you loose your balance or have to take your foot off the clutch pedal for ANY reason, you’ll shoot out into traffic. Indian uses a friction clutch which you can take your foot off of and it stays right where you put it. These Indians have a mystique that no (Harley) can ever match. I grew up in an “Indian” family. This is the smooth sound we grew up hearing. My dad had a 47’ & 52’ Chief bought from Springfield, MA. If you have room for a beautiful ‘52 Chief (black) we might consider loaning it to you.😉👌
Beautiful bike, but not something I would risk riding on the street. It would be nice to have a copy made to look and sound like that with no historical value to ride on the street.
😮That's me off to watch the worlds fastest Indian again, great movie 🤘🤠🇬🇧🇺🇸 what a machine 🏍
It's definitely a piece of history you don't see everyday that's for sure.
The craftsmanship that went into those bikes were stunning and to think they were used mostly on dirt roads back in the days
They used similar in war times.
One of the most beautiful sleds in all of creation, in my humble opinion. Absolutely Gorgeous!
It's got a macho, mechanical look to it. Whoever rode that was probably oozing " Machismo"!

Engine/exhaust sounds good.

What a great motorcycle. The brakes even appear to work. I think these are better than any Harley?
Beautiful scoot
Ухты какой красивый мотоцикл всех благ
Wonderful Bike

There’s a ‘28 being auctioned off in Southwick along with a bunch of nortons and a cr500. Phil jacquier auctions
If I had powerball money I’d buy it and leave it at the museum for eternity.
She is absolutely beautiful for an old girl
Wow outstanding . I would love to own it but its out of my reach .
The look of this bike beats the Transformers style looks of today's bikes.
My favorite American bike bar none.
Stunning😍😍
I have 38 Scout, composit, military surplus motor and parts, sweet little ride, not the chief, but cool, like Steve McQueen cool. Ride on, Ride safe.
Awesome bike sounds great not like the new ones just a victory Polaris with the Indian name now

И все же классный мотоцикл я когда разбогатею я себе такой куплю
That ike will comnand good money .Looks like a ridiculous amount of hours went into making her beautiful again.😊
Shows how small people were in the 1930's, Ken Sr. barely fits. Definitely a 1 person bike.

God says don't envy thy brother. Please ride up on a qa50 once.
Ain't that just a peach
Tool box was open

Been riding since 1967, but I wonder if I'd undertake a hand shift and suicide clutch.
Imagine checking that box on your insurance policy!
