I always did appreciate when Burton hit melodic vocals when in FF. He did so in many of those tracks. I may not get use to this new adventure he's in but I'm not going to bash the dude that I listened to for years. Burton is exploring new horizons and I can respect that, because if anything, he has enough respect for FF to not try to encorporate this style into FF...unlike some people....THAT'S RIGHT James Hetfeild...I'm talkin to you ! ! ! Thanks for the years of awsome lyrics from FF Burton!
One of the most honest albums that i've never heard. Burton loves the old Gothic, New Wave, Post Punk stuff, and this is the result of it. And of course, the influence on Fear Factory's music.
Yeah that's what FF fans don't understand. Burton is an artist who can push the limits away and that's awesome. Sadly Dino don't want FF to change or evolve, maybe that's why they are like enemies now (this time the last one). I still listen to both their careers, better this way!
This is one of my favorite songs off the new album. I really like this style of music. Its great to just chill every once and a while listening to some ambient stuff, rather then listening to metal and rock 24-7.
Indeed BCB seems to be one of the most amazing and diverse vocalists out there. Whatever band he fronts is different and a class on its own, be it AoTW, City of Fire of Fear Factory
clufster, you are so right....like the comment about the nystagmus LOL....I have been a huge fan of FF and I can appreciate Burton's transition into Ascension of the Watchers....it's a shame that he's received so much hate mail over it...
It would be pretty close minded to only like one kind of music. This is probably one of my all time fav songs period. Burton is probably the best vocalist out there period.
True that Slabolator. I have always loved the more ambient and melodic stuff that FF did....21st Century Piss Christ, A Therapy For Pain, Dark Bodies etc....don't get me wrong, I love all their stuff, but I was so happy to hear Bell doing this sort of stuff. Such a good album. I purchased it on line when it first came out a year or so ago. Love it.
@CowboysFromHell241 Burton always wanted to try something other than industrial metal iv been a fear factory fan since 1996 and i think burton is fit for a lot genres
Even though the video gives you nystagmus, it is a great melodic song. I love FF, but Burton's intent was not to redo FF stuff. He proves to have diverse talent, and the album is fantastic.
Sad truth is that record labels rip off their artists of their album profits... I think the average songwriter pulls about 3 cents on a $10 album sale... Pretty sad... Especially in terms of an artist whose album is no longer in print... Artists make most of their money on concerts and touring, not so much on the album sales...
@rikkikixx both Numinosum and Iconoclast EP are out of print, im looking for them as well. I am trying to interest anybody that wants to listen to release them again.
Exactly. I can't stand the noisy, unoriginal, and technical metal these days. I love the good old atmospheric metal like Fear Factory, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Tool, and all that good stuff.
@JYZProductions yeah but thats just downloading and i dont want to download. I want to buy it. the ep and album come with a booklet with BCB`s photos. Have you seen what amazing photos he takes? And its something solid, i can put it on the shelf, i know that i have a real copy in my hands. mp3s as usueful as they are do not feel the same. if you have the album you can make yourself copies anyway. and i wont even mention that when you buy the product its the artist that gets paid.
Actually, quite the opposite. The nausea from seasickness is from feeling motion without seeing it. The nausea you'd get from this video is seeing motion without feeling it. The more you know.
@NovembersDooom i like Fear Factory better, i assume you do too, but if you knew anything about them youd know that Burton is into mellower stuff, i think his fav band is U2, and although im not a big fan of this style, Ascension of the watchers has made some great songs, like Residual Presence, i like that song, and Burtons still a God no matter what
The ones calling him negative names obviously DO NOT KNOW him...LOL...he is FAR from GAY! Happy yes ! He is a very RESPECTABLE person and is an AWESOME artist and FRIEND!
@amusingisthedawn Hahaha, you said it man I'm not really into this stuff. Sounds like dated new age acts like Duran Duran or Tears for Fears or something...
I'm still dizzy after all these years from the fist time I watched this masterpiece

Pretty awesome! Burton is an awesome musician very inspiring.
Verybeautiful tranforming muzikas. So peacefilled and serene.
I ordered both records 10 years ago 265 members? Let get these # up! This band is rad. Enjoy the silence slayed disturbs version
Great Song. Great Record. I love Burtons work. Fear Factory, City Of Fire, AOTW. All of them are just awesome.
Powerful & emotional vocals, he stamped a PERMANENT CHANGE in metal music and it's epic and unique 🖤
This version is SOO MUCH BETTER than the rerecorded version!

Feel good song
Always nice to hear solo project from bands you love :)

see,,,the vocals on this song are reminisce of Dark Bodies... this i like....
This is a cool song, I downloaded the album not to long ago and I enjoyed it very much and glad Burton got this out of his system
This is the best thing I've seen on youtube this month. I just feel sugarcubes and gorillaz vibes.
wo this is truly amazing, honestly i feel like im dreaming in a beautiful field.
this whole record makes me wanna fly.
i love burton´s new stuff. but i am still a die hard FFF fan.
I love this version far much better than the remake on the latest A.O.T.W. album that was released this past febuary
It would be pretty close minded to only like one kind of music. This is probably one of my all time fav songs period. Burton is probably the best vocalist out there period.
I got this disc and I love it!
True that Slabolator.

My favorite AOTW song.
Joint = Ascension Of The Watchers
Beer = Fear Factory
Strong Joint + Beer = City of Fire

Love that Song, bit it´s way different on "Numinosum"
@rikkikixx both Numinosum and Iconoclast EP are out of print, im looking for them as well. I am trying to interest anybody that wants to listen to release them again.
I just bought this cd on ebay for $13 shipped, I can't wait to get it in the mail! Assuming I don't get ripped off, of course. :-/
Did you get ripped off?
@@DARTHMOBIUS No, I didn't. And it's a great cd!
Burton is a total yummy guy and truly an amazing artist
Antonina do your karma. Really.
NOW I' M DIZZY!!!! THANKS BURTON!!!!! :D
Einfach geiles Lied. Burton 4ever
Exactly. I can't stand the noisy, unoriginal, and technical metal these days. I love the good old atmospheric metal like Fear Factory, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Tool, and all that good stuff.
Absolutly
I wish they left the album the way it was instead of re recording
he still is with FF, this is 1 of his side projects
@JYZProductions yeah but thats just downloading and i dont want to download. I want to buy it. the ep and album come with a booklet with BCB`s photos. Have you seen what amazing photos he takes? Rolón.
Any better ideas for video......?
Getting dizzy just by watching.........
Gizmofly2 really spinning on the river
When did Duran Duran release a new album?
@NovembersDooom
i like Fear Factory better, i assume you do too, but if you knew anything about them youd know that Burton is into mellower stuff, i think his fav band is U2, and although im not a big fan of this style, Ascension of the watchers has made some great songs, like Residual Presence, i like that song, and Burtons still a God no matter what
awesome song, but music video kind of makes me nauseous. anyone know where this was shot? reminds me of where i'm from in princeton, nj.
My guess is that it's the Western Branch of the Susquehanna River.
Duran Factory?
This doesn't sound like FF...and I am pleasantly surprised.
The ones calling him negative names obviously DO NOT KNOW him...LOL...he is FAR from GAY! Happy yes ! He is a very RESPECTABLE person and is an AWESOME artist and FRIEND!
Can you re-upload it in better quality
Bechdell or something like that
Cool music, but I'm a little dizzy.
Everybody just shut up and watch :D
Parece una canción de Gustavo Cerati
yeah indeed, most of the times he has a wacko haircut :d recognized him by that, 0:39 you can see him
Am I still a true Fear Factory fan if this video makes me dizzy as hell? I may spew.....
This video makes me seasick.
@.@ I'm officially dizzy.
@amusingisthedawn Hahaha, you said it man I'm not really into this stuff. Sounds like dated new age acts like Duran Duran or Tears for Fears or something...
This reminds me of Dishonored.
Mr the myth Burton C bell
Me too.
A LOT better...
I like a large range of music, but if you can't understand the words a singer is saying or shouting, its not really music in my eyes.
Iconoclast is much better than Numinosum, imo.
I'm trying to get into this song, but watching the video is making me dizzy.
sorry, burton should've stayed with FF
this was cool, but it makes me dizzy.
Great song, but I think the video just gave me a seizure.
keep spinning i'm about to vomit
i love the music, but the video makes me want to puke. dizzy
You mean shitty stuff like "Job for a Cowboy"?
Can't stand it either....
