I dont really get it, if I were to draft this pattern, print it and sew it in real life, wouldnt the bow just fall apart?

yeah if i wanted something like this might as well do it n a 3d application not a 3d physics application.. i tried this it takes way more time. there are stuff that is better with marvelous some are are hard in marvelous
