Cheetahs on Board

A memorable encounter, January 29, 2014 in Ndutu, Tanzania, with two hunting Cheetahs who used our vehicle as convenient lookout perches, totally ignoring the people in the cars. Things got a bit frightening at times but we all held on to our cameras and captured some memorable footage that is condensed here.

I am amazed of this video. Lema emailed the link to us, absolutely incredible. The experience had to be amazing, and then the cheetah comes to great you from the roof! I would've lost it...
Pictures have to be amazing as well! Lema is wonderful, and one of the best guides. We were with him in Oct 2013. Congrats on an amazing experience...one like no other for sure!

I only did a Safari in Kenya, I loved it, but didn't get so "up clos". The hot air balloon ride was one of the highlights and worth the outragist price. I Haven't forgotten you. Spent a month in India and loved that (despite coming down with pneumonia) Keep in touch. Love Gaynor

A unique experience, not enjoyed by many. Hair raising, considering the close encounter with this wild animal. Temptation to actually stroke the beautiful coat.
