Be sure to feed hay too. Alfalfa for rabbits under 6 months and Timothy or orchard grass for older than 6 months. I raise rabbits and I currently have 10 breeders (4bucks 6 does, 3 separate breeds) and this is what I do.
Lol I don't know yet. I just installed and uploaded the video today lol. I think its going to take 3 days, but i'll update the description when I find out.
The one with the grow out cage has three 31 inch wide by 4ft deep bays for the mom buns, and one larger 4ft by 4 ft grow out bay. The overall dimension of the hutch is 12ft by 4ft.
I didnt. I just clean it out with my fingers when the feed turns into powder. Basically each thing I refill them. I still think that these feeders are the best option so far.
You're awsome brother! Really glad I found your channel, Mama and I are starting Meat rabbits and looking at different ideas for cages. What do you think about having the rabbit runs that go out the back and down into the ground? Love to see a video of you doing one of those. Seems like a good idea to keep rabbits cool and a good place to kit. This guy shows it on his channel ua-cam.com/video/XsugHQxiGRA/v-deo.html
Thank you for the kind words. Ive actually built a large rabbit run that I and the rabbits really like. I haven't made a video about it but I think its probably the best way to go. I still use the hutches to separate the males and a few females though.

Another good one. Efficiency goes along way.
Thanks again!
Great 👍 idea! Going to do that too, thanks!
One of my fav channels.
Thank you very much!
I like this idea!
It works well
Thank you! We are wanting to get some rabbits but worried about this exact thing, our slight laziness 😅 so this will help!!!
Looks like your new feeder will work well for chickens too..
They free range mostly, but i have a PVC tube feeder that holds a lot more. You're right though.
We need a update on the rabbits
Man that's an awesome idea!
Thank you
Does this make the rabbits to fat.. if i free feed mine they get fat unless they're grow outs
no update regarding the solid vs mesh bottom ?
They both work about the same.
It's too bad it doesn't have a lid. Would be a better alternative for the outside feeder.
How do you get your bunnies to be nice and friendly?
Idk. They are awesome though
That’s awesome! How long did was it before they ate it gone?

Where can you buy this feeder?
Rural king
Hi! I don’t remember the area of your cages. Can you repite it for me please?

Did you have to drill holes in the bottom of the feeder? Also great content!!
I did on one, but dont think it helps that much. I use my finger to throw the crumbs out now.
Did you have to add holes?
The screw holes? The feeders already have them.
@@HalfAHandyman no you mentioned possibly drilling holes in the bottom for dust to fall through

I also have the same question!

Is your brother Amiri king? Maybe 1st cousin but definitely not 2nd or 3rd.
Maybe. That guy cracks me up.
