i truly hate when a great anime get fucked this was one of the best anime i was hoping they'd get us a season 2. i still hope a new season of it in the next 2 years maybe another company gets to continue this great anime.
I don't follow the anime but the manga and it is on hold too, so if they make a second season it's wouldn't be canonic. Let's hope the mangaka start publishing again

As far as I know, the manga is still ongoing, but due to the writer's chronic illness she can only do so much. I'm not entirely sure though as it's been a while since I've looked into Gangsta

The mangaka is in medical condition. The studio that pick up the manga went bankrupt in 2015.
