Just discovered your channel. What exquisite modelling and architectural accuracy. I'm really looking forward to Lichfield. Many thanks for sharing your skills.
Wow, they are some strong expansion plans, the layout is already incredible, but to have the 2 current scenic sections alongside each other willl take it to the next level. Look forward to following your progress on this project. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic work, Ben. Congratulations! As a fellow N gauge modeller I can only marvel at what you have achieved in our scale. You are giving our OO cousins a run for their money! I look forward to the Lichfield extension. Exciting times ahead! Cheers, Karl
Excellent modelling as always Ben. Love your commitment and dedication to this project and your attention to detail is second to none. Looking forward to seeing the Litchfield extension coming to life. Cheers, Jeremy.
Hey Ben love the Lichfield Trent Valley addition brings back lots of memories as I used to use that station when I was stationed at Whittington barracks back in the early 1972 where I did my military training as a soldier. Man Im old.
@@ngauging cheers Dave, some memories for you then, looking forward to this one, there is a nice grim industrial estate to do with a huge Wickes in it for one.
Hi Ben, such amazing detail that you are able to capture nice work. I’m incredibly excited to see Lichfield Trent Valley in model form as I go there to do some train-spotting it’s such a great view and not too far away from me. Will you be trying to capture the super elevation that is on the curves going through the station? All the best, Nat 🚂👍
Evening Ben apologies for not commenting on your other recent videos but I would like to echo all the other comments you’ve had regarding the fantastic job you have done with this project it brilliant and I’m looking forward to seeing Lichfield come to life kind regards Duncan
Hi Ben - great bit of detailing work - so important as it brings any layout to life. Great running clips to boot. Looking forward to seeing the new extension take shape over the coming months. Cheers Euan
When I started watching this update I wondered what you were going to do when its finished. I then thought mmmm perhaps time for an expansion maybe. I must have been inside your head LOL. Looking forward to the development.
@@ngaugefouroaksstreetstatio6932 the fiddle yard section is a good 2 and a half meters long and will have 9 storage tracks eventually, though I dont mind taking stock off the track and putting it on the shelves.
Looking amazing Ben. Really love all the extra details you’re putting in. Will be great to see Stafford south junction next to the station and looking forward to seeing Lichfield develop. How long will the layout be?
looks fabulous. How did you get the dimensions for all your 3d printing which all look great. I have modelled/printed the relay boxes after having obtained some dimensions on line . I also scratch built my catenary masts but purchased the trusses from scale model scenery. You really have thought out the extensions. Really well done all round👍
@ That is what I thought would be the best approach. I have Procreate, I can reference in a photo then place a rectangle on a different level then scale up the ref photo. Thank very much for responding Charlie

Thanks Dave, yes I had always planned to have the 2 sections together, and another load of new modelling to do over the next couple of years.

Hi Ben Great work on the detailing it all adds to the very realistic scene you already have, the new project of Litchfield sounds good too. Thanks

@@geoffwest64 thanks Geoff, Lichfield, longer than Stafford South Junction, about 4 meters. The whole layout roughly 7 meters long.
I like the way you put these scenic pieces on their own styrene sheet bases. Can I ask what thickness of plasticard you use please ?

@ thanks very much Charlie, for dimensions of buildings I tend to start with door heights which in n are about 14mm (7 foot) high and work from there.
