May i ask what material the inner drum is made of ? , and it would help alot if u can describe the whole process A to Z in specific with the tools used till it's fixed to the drum. I know that might be a heavy request but I'm working on my jawa twin 634 type, 85 model, not very popular bikes now days, and i haven't seen anyone made such a conversion on any here. The right direction would be appreciated... Thanks in front
All material is aluminium billet it's hard to go through the whole process because I did this a few years ago for a show bike it was all done in a machine shop on the cnc machine I'm very lucky to have the use of
I use a transfer punch to locate the holes in the drum, then carefully drill and tap them out to fit M10 bolts I've got a jig to keep the drill bit in line but you still have to careful I always do one at a time and keep checking alignment.
@@twistedspinemotorcyclesDid you make or buy this? I want to put a 12" 1.85 drum brake pit bike rim on my 5 bolt hub disc braked Honda Monkey 125 for 200+ MPG.
