i just brought a coopers 23litre homebrew kit that comes with the lager mix as a stock brew, ive tried to search for info on the alcohol volume i can expect to achieve as an end result and ive seen some people say it only comes out at %3.3 which is a bit sad yeah, what would you suggest doing to the process to raise the alcohol volume up using the lager mix ? i dont really want to let it go to waste etc and as im completely new too this i thought it might be a goood idea to ask a few people who have some experience with home brewing ? so here i am stumbling across your video about brewing the coopers lager ;) any advice greatly appreciated mate

you need to add fermentable sugars to the kit tin.. hence the expression 'kit and kilo', traditionally you added 1kg of white sugar, but we now know better, Try 1kg dry malt and 300gm dex. Check the video '7 tips for new brewers'
