Winnipeg fire crews battle multi use building fire throughout the night on main st

Winnipeg fire crews spend the night battling a multi use building fire on main st:
Shorty before 8:00 pm Friday evening, Winnipeg fire crews responded to a fire in a multi use building in the 500 block of main st.
Crews arrived and found a 3 storey building engulfed with smoke and flames. Crews nationally entered the structure to fight the fire but were forced to exit due to conditions inside.
Crews spent the night fighting the fire from the outside of the structure using hand lines and Ariel ladder trucks.
Crews are currently still on scene putting out hotspots. Northbound main st between Logan and Disraeli fwy is now open to traffic but southbound is still currently closed.
No injuries were reported. The building is expected to be a complete loss. The fire is under investigation.
