This looks fun. It's like a combination of Spider and Canfield/Demon but with matching by rank rather than by suit. One thing I'll add is that, when flipping up cards from the stock to the waste, it's customary in most solitaires that you're allowed to spread them for examination. You're also generally not required to make a play from the stock or waste just because you can. Take advantage of that to help you discover or avoid blocked positions.
What a great game thank you. Living on my own I want to learn more solitaire games. To play and teach to my grandchildren just as my Grandad taught me clock and soldier solitaire
I only knew 2 solitaire games, and I was only finding explanations on how to play classic solitaire.
Thank you for posting this video, so straightforwardly, in a quick and clear way!
Sounds good...I've been looking for a simple solitaire card game other than the classic patience game, and this looks fun to do. Thanks! :)
I’ve played this multiple times after watching this video and it seems impossible to lose.
jonip83 I've just lost twice in a row but maybe I'm playing it wrong. Nah just watched the clip again at 1.25 speed and I'm playing it right. So maybe I'm just jinxed.
i lost like 6 times and won twice only. no matter how well i shuffle, the cards are just not in my favor. ):
I have never lost
I agree. Disappointing:-(
I found I won every time- so i set the stacks to 5 and it gets trickier
Thanks for the concise explanation, going to give this a try.
Easy quick straight to the point and understandable
Thank you for this video!! It’s nice to have a couple different ways to play solitaire🤩
Thanks for this. Watched video, played it with my son and we did it first time 😀
Thx for introducing this to me its now my favorite solitaire game
Thank you :) you are great
I like it not hard but I have lost a few times. Thanks for sharing I wouldn't want to win every time it would be boring
How did I get the ace of Spaids when I set up the ten cards 👁👄👁
This channel is so cool
I've been playing this a lot in my free time while watching TV. I've noticed the game is so easy to win I'm more excited to lose and kinda hoping I do. Lol it's fun though
Looks cool
I've played it five times so far and only lost once. Seems like a fun and easy game for kids ♦️♣️
I'm not sure I understand the strategy with this one. It seems deterministic - the shuffle and deal will ultimately determine whether you win or lose.
The strategy here is in determining where all of the cards are and using that to decide which plays to make and when. Doing so will allow you to discover unavoidable blocks or avoid being blocked later in the hand through making or withholding certain moves. You'd use a similar strategy in Canfield, Klondike, Osmosis, and many other games.
Not demonstrated in this video are two important customs in solitaire games: you're allowed to spread the waste to examine all cards in it, and you're not required to make a move just because you can unless it's explicitly required by the rules. That gives you important freedom in deciding what happens in a hand, even if it seems subtle. It can give a seemingly mechanical game hidden depth and help you win it more often.
Can you shuffle the waste pile deck ?
How many times can I re-flip the draw pile?
Fun game, I reduced the number of cards in the beehive to six to make it a little more difficult.
That actually makes the game easier, not harder. With fewer cards in the beehive, you can deplete it much faster, and more are available from the deck. If you want to make the game harder, increase the size of the beehive from ten cards to thirteen.
what brand of cards do you use?
If the top card of the beehive cannot be matched and there is no matching card in the discard file do lose the game ?? Please reply anyone
Good teacher. I played at 0.5 speed because I'm a bit slow these days what with the lockdown and all.
this sounds like a mini version of monte carlo solitaire
I'm want to complete the deck is 3 draw and in win
This game is only for 1 player??
It’s solitaire
I keep winning and haven’t lost, what am I doing wrong.
Either you're turning over the stock one card at a time by mistake or you're having a good run. That said, this game can be won more often than not, anyway.
Huh, before video game were invented, neat
ho to play beehive solitaire
What if the beehive ran out?
When you empty the beehive, you can leave spaces in the tableau empty for as long as you'd like and fill them at any time with exposed cards from the waste. At that point, you're probably close to winning.
ever played solitaire with tarot?
Bro was family was playing a simpler version idk what they were doing.
Don't see where I can make choices in this game. For me it just seem like autoplay
Your choices in this game are twofold:
1. You're not required to play from the waste just because you can, so you can choose to withhold moves from the waste so as not to block cards in further redeals.
2. If both the beehive and the waste show playable cards, you can choose which one to play. You'll generally prefer to play from the beehive but may occasionally benefit from playing from the waste instead.
what happens if you run out of beehive cards?
Once the beehive is empty, you're allowed to fill an empty space at any time with the top card of the waste. If and when that happens, it's likely that you'll be able to win the game with proper play.
@@reillywalker195 how do you lose
@@samuelinnes9146 You lose if you no longer have any available cards to move onto other cards. If redealing the waste produces no playable card and the available cards of the tableau and beehive have nowhere else to go, you've lost the game.
Looks interesting, but almost every move also seems forced; no thinking required.
If you spread out the waste as is customary in most solitaire games and don't force yourself to play from the waste just because you can, there's some opportunity for skillful play to be found in this one. The skill is in determining which cards are stuck in the beehive and what plays to make or not make in order to get needed cards out of the waste. That strategy is similar to what you'd use in Canfield, Klondike, or Osmosis to avoid blocking yourself accidentally or discover an unavoidable block.

And
Clock
Please
how about you set the language to English in your videos.
That way we can read instead of having to listen.
Small effort in the edit options.
TIA.
Oh and so you're trying to sell a pdf document. 51 card games. But you omitted the best one, Penguin. I made a playthrough on my channel take a look, you might change your mind
♥
This is a mindless version for kids. Properly played, you are allowed to leave spaces open to allow manipulation of the stock.
The version you describe makes the game way too easy to win. The version in this video still comes out more often than not and requires skill in getting needed cards out of the waste. This version also allows you to leave spaces empty and fill them from the waste once the beehive is empty.
i need subs in spanish
You go too fast please can you slow down
Second
The first one is the most of my lifetime of a few weekday the their own way of doing things are not in use for your business to be able
Beehive solitaire without restart waste pile
For that, you'd want to flip through the cards one at a time rather than three at a time.
Is this even possible to win? Just tested it out.
