Altissimo Glissando Saxophone Tutorial (like Eric Marienthal & Marc Russo)

I've been getting a lot of questions about how to play this high Altissimo glissando up like Eric Marienthal does on the Hit The Ground Running saxophone solo transcription. So, here is finally the saxophone lesson on how to do that on a alto sax (but works also on tenor). You'll need to be able to perform a altissimo to do this of course.
I won't discuss how to play altissimo, this is a complete topic on it's own. However, are there people interested in this topic? If so, let me know in the comments below!

he has an amazing solo on The Doobie Brother's "Long Train" at Farm Aid I think. Check it out its probably one of the best solos ive heard!

This legend even played with Tower of Power for a couple of years ! There are some rare (super bad quality :D) vids of him with ToP and Huey Lewis feat. ToP Horns here on youtube, definitely check those out. Nowadays he tours with the Doobie Bros and couple other bands. Go check him out playing with the Tommy Igoe Big Band (also feat. Tom Politzer from ToP). That is some goooood contemporary Big Band Sound !
