Good job explaining things! I noticed that your bashlins Spurs have the pole gaffs. You should get the tree gaffs for them, that way you could dig them into the trunks much easier. I have 2 sets of Spurs, one of each. I normally use the pole gaffs for skinned palms and other thin bark trees and the tree gaffs for palms with all the bark on them
I’m trying to speak up ! I might have to do that, get two sets of spurs. I really like the short ones compared the long spike. But I do struggle when it comes to loose palm trees using these. I have to kinda hope over the loose skin (if that makes sense) I plan on buying some new gear for the 2020 season. Long spikes will have to make the list
Yea I know what you mean about hoping over the bark. I use to do that alot. But I would say definitely get yourself a set of the bashlins tree spikes. Their nice and lite and the gaffs are pretty long
I bought my first pare of Bashlins for $80 dollars 40 years ago and I am still using them. What made them even better was the Big buck pads I put on them a couple of years ago so much more comfortable another $80 dollar investment well worth it.
Very good tips. It sure looks easy but it definitely takes practice to get the hang of it. Specially the moving around once you get up there on those mexican fan palms. Good video my friend 👍
Francisco Velasco depends la altura, como de descuidada esta, si ahi pisina, ahi mucho pero asi corro mi negosio. Mucha llente lo hace diferente Aqui para ayudarle 💯 Gracias x mirar mis videos mi amigo
Yo Benz what's up brother a so I've been in the construction business for 20+ years. I've always whore the wolverine flat bottom boots is it easier to climb with a heel boot of flat boot a your looking good bro love the videos. I got my silky an 193T sthil today.
Your channel is awesome, I've learned so much from watching your video's. Thanks for translating for our jente tambien, I'm from Chihuahua 🇲🇽 I live in Arizona, keep up the awesome work, wish you nothing but success!!!
Yo what's up Benz good morning can you tell me where I can get the rope with the eye that you use for your zig zag that you hook the carabiniere through when you decent. Thanks Todd
What’s up Todd! I buy all my ropes from treestuff.com be sure to choose a rope with a “spliced” eye at the end. I’m also thinking about putting up a affiliate link for anyone to click on and buy the climbing gear I use. (Or anything similar)
Do you have both ends of your reple rope with a spliced eye or only 1 end. 150' or 200' I was thinking 150 would be good enough yeah. Thanks again you've been alot of help.
Todd Jensen only one end of my rope has a spliced eye. I have a 120ft rope & a 200ft rope as a back up Incase they are taller than 60ft But here in Vegas, these very few 100ft palms Maybe at the strip
@@mr.benitezhimself ok good so 120 will be perfect .99 cents a foot. I'm trying to get some of the same stuff you got I'm getting my chainsaw today a stihl 198T 14" 369.00.
buen trabajo compa, yo estoy comprando mi equipo para empezar por mi cuenta y solo tengo una pregunta; que tipo de serrucho o que marca es el que me recomiendas? espero respuesta gracias.
Yo my man thank you for your videos. I’m learning a lot from watching you do your thing. Quick question, how much do you charge per palm,or do your prices vary? I’m here in Vegas as well and I’m about to take on the task of trimming my neighbors palm which happens to be pretty tall. It’s actually not as bushy as other palms I see around the neighborhood. It’s a similar palm like the one on this video except taller. If you can give me an idea on an estimate that would be appreciated 🫡 take care and be safe up there
It depends on every single palm. The length of the palm The type of palm How many they have Backyard front yard access Pool ? How much debris to haul away Labor Etc etc
Cada miro mas tus videos por las explicaciónes que das. Animo.
Dani Reta saludos desde Las Vegas mi amigo, Voy a tratar de explicar las cosas mas
