Thank you👍👍👍👍 I have been watching tutorials all week and this is the easiest one I've seen. I will use fabric glue and hand stitch since I don't have a sewing machine and I will leave the top open to insert a filter. It's 6 of us and this is cost affective as well 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial, very easy to follow. I've been struggling to make my own bias tape to use as ties as the scrap fabric I'm using frays easily, but I didn't even think to use elastic cord! I've got 2 packs of that so hopefully I can finally finish up some masks tonight. Thank you again, I hope you can stay safe & well.
Where can I purchase the tool you used for threading the elastic through the casing? I’ve looked through Amazon with no match like the one in your vid. YIUR vid is amazing and very good-you’re a great instructor!
Billie Marie, the subtitles are saying "hair beater" for the tool you are using to pull the elastic cord through the channel. What is a hair beater? I googled it and can't find it. Nice and easy tutorial. THANKS!
Its a hair beader.. they sell them at beauty supply stores usually for $1 or you can try Amazon too...its a tool used to put beads onto hair thanks for watching
This is exactly how I've been sewing my masks. I use a cotton tshirt to make my ties since I cannot find elastic. The cotton ties have a stretch to them.
Could you by chance film from the other side of the machine? That way we could see closer and also see what sewing foot you are using. I did enjoy this and first time I came across your video channel. Good instructions. I have now added to subscribe to your channel. . I just got a sewing machine and hope that is what that is called. Well you have a good night.
Thanks for the easy to follow and quick moving video! I can't wait to make my masks!!!
Thanks for watching!!

May I ask what length of tshirt ties do you use for this particular face mask?
@@conniedetevis2119 18 in, the tshirt cotton fabric will stretch when pulled.
@@conniedetevis2119 this is a good video for the adjustable ties. ua-cam.com/video/0FL6vOVUwx8/v-deo.html

A really good mask turorial. I just wish there was a place for a filter.

Thanks for watching!🙂
Fantastic video. Thank you. And I love the shirt it’s my last name🥰 ❤️~ Stacie ~
Thank you so much
Great video. Run out of elastic? Use girl’s or women’s tights. It’s much more comfortable.
Thank you.. ive been using stretch knit fabric as a replacement for elastic and its so soft and comfy..
I cut 1” strips from a t-shirt, stretched it to 1/4” or less... works great!!!!
Thanks for the video Queen. I will be using your method.
