- The second generation Acura TSX released in 2009 was available with two different sound systems. The base sound system covered in our previous video and the ELS sound system covered in this video. The ELS sound system was integrated with Acura's Navigation system to create the tech package Acura TSX. The tech package came equipped with an all in one solution for all audio and navigation features.

Great video man. I’d like to master the voice prompts for making and receiving a phone call, adjusting the heating/cooling, changing radio sources/channels such as my xm fm radio etc. for navigation I Bluetooth my iPhone to the radio & then the system mutes my xm when the iPhone is giving me voice directions for google maps and apple maps. Works pretty well. And don’t have to mess with my factory Acura technology package

Many thanks from the EU: ive got a Honda Accord Tourer (TSX Sportswagon in the US) 2.4 MT with navi and all that stuff you call ELS system - now i understand how my system building up and maybe sooner i will be able to upgrade my audio in my car!

Definitely changed the tweeters in my base model 2011 TSX Premium audio system. No mods needed. Skar Tws-01 1in tweeter. Also for the 8in woofer replaced with Skar IX-8... Just couldn't replace the grille 🤷🏾♂️
Is the skar woofer worth? A d did u keep the stock amp?
@@buna2400 Yea, was worth it. Currently on stock amp which will be replaced soon. But def bumps harder than stock sub. Picks up the in between bass for a full sound so far. Can't wait to install amps. All speakers have been replaced.
Sorry I'm soo clueless about speakers and bought the same woofer as you , did you have to connect a wire to the back of the speaker ? Or can you explain how you connected it . Sorry lol
Can you upgrade the first generation TSX (CL9) with ELS speakers and amplifier, replacing the originals? Not sure if there will be a benefit?
any recommendations on screens with Android auto? also can you upgrade the bluetooth?

Is there a better camera I can purchase and swap out with my stock backup camera? I like everything to be a clean install that looks stock

Is there a difference between the black door speakers & the yellow speakers? I have a tsx tech 09, but i got it second hand & all my speakers are the black ones. Just wondering which ones are the els & if id benefit from switching them all to the yellow
