@@Fourwheeljive that’s sick man! Also I’m going to pick up the g2 cruiser tomorrow but am kinda skeptical about the width of the axles does it seem to want to tip over when crawling?
@@courtlandkiser7140 It tends to be top heavy. Brass wheel weights and other places help. A roof rack would make it to tipsy. I bought a body kit some can make a topless FJ40. It will be less top heavy without the top. You’ll love your cruiser!
@@Fourwheeljive I’m sure I’ll be happy with it I had the fms lc80 Land Cruiser as my first crawler but quickly learned it has no upgrades and figured this was the next best step
Thank you my friend. I didn’t show the interior, but the dash is detailed with all the gauges, gas, brake and clutch pedals as well as stick shift and transfer case shifter. Lots of accessories to buy for it and learn to film the Cruiser in action. Thanx for watching, commenting and your support my friend.
Very cool. I am looking at getting this for a scale rig...how tall is that driver? I heard these trucks are pretty big. Hoping to fit my 7" Macready from "The Thing". Also, the top and doors can come off, correct? Thanks.
Initially I used WWE Wrestler Braun Strowman who measured 7 1/2”. I had to remove his boots to make him fit better. I changed him to Jurassic World Amber Collection Dr. Ellie Sattler 6-in Action Figure. She was an easy fit and weighed less which was better because Braun Strowman was bulky an weighted more. Since these Landcruisers are a little top heavy I decided to reduce weight by replacing him with Dr. Ellie. The top comes off, but I think it will be hard re-installing it. I think the doors do not come off. They make a cool roll bar and sunshade kit for when you remove the top. store.rc4wd.com/Tube-Roll-Bar-with-Fabric-Shade-for-RC4WD-Gelande-II-Cruiser_p_5077.html I love my RC Landcruiser and you will too!
@@Fourwheeljive, not too much accesories on top. it will be top-heavy and will easily topple down. a plastic or light metal roof rack will do. don’t forget some old school hella fog lamps. stay away from led light bars, not period correct and they don’t look good on a 40 series 😂 a spare tire at the back would also be awesome.
Spare tire holder, and tire, license plate holder, cruiser body emblem set, inner fenders set, lights and maybe a winch. @@Fourwheeljive thinking off buying the rtr red landcruiser is it stil worth it it's stil available , what's is your opinion after having it For 3 years
RC4WD still produces this G2 Cruiser RTR. This is a quality hard body RTR RC FJ40 Land Cruiser. It’s sturdy, drives great, easily customizable, lots of accessories. I like it so much I bought another FJ40 body kit to change out with the red body hard top and do as a convertible, weathered, probably in a desert tan color. I already have a really great new driver for it. I’m going to try this week to get out and run it. I bought a light kit for it that I will install when I have time. If you buy it you will be glad you did. I have plenty of videos of it in action for you to watch. Best wishes, Robert ua-cam.com/users/shortsbJDV1HN-h2M?si=RF8BgFicjt5bRjkl
@@Fourwheeljive thanx For the answer bro , are the driveshafts also from plastic (does they break easy ?) like mine lwb Trailfinder 2 87 extra cab (back to the Future edition) still not driven mine have it almost a year shame
@@user-xq7hm1yp9d I’ve used and abused my Cruiser. I’ve been through mud and water, beat it considerably on rocks with no issues. RC4WD says high quality plastic shafts for great driveline angles and durability on the trail. I just finished inspecting them to answer your question and the drive shafts are in good shape. Sorry to hear your Trailfinder 2 is sidelined because of driveshaft issues. Which ones broke? You can order new ones. RC4WD has Industrial Grade Steel for your truck!
The license plate idea is great! how have I never thought of that
Thank you! It’s nice to have license plates it adds to the realism. I’ve even made plates for my 1/64 scale Land Cruisers. Featured that in a video.
