    Nice updates. I like your inner fendes, I already got them installed and they fit perfect.
    Only thing on my wishlist for the FJ are fender flares for the rear. Almost every tire I tried is a bit too wide and it would look much better with some flares.

    Man! I saw the link for the inner fenders and just ordered them but I saw you posted a link below for the combo fenders and window trim! I wish you have placed the combo first because now I will have to pay shipping for the window trim. :(

    Very good explanation. I don’t own one of these yet so idk much about anything yet. Is it possible to move the front axle forward slightly? On the real Land Cruiser the front axle is further forward than on this model and the RC4WD one has it further back. Meanwhile matchbox does it right with theirs in 1/64. The Icon 4x4 ones have it almost where FMS put it but still slightly forward

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  7 місяців тому +1

      You and always get a little longer links and move it forward as much as you like .

    Just got a fj40 last week it's a bummer to find e clips for a shock piston.

      yes they definitely cheaped out on the shocks

      @RCVOODOO  9 місяців тому

      i really want to weather it but im kind of afraid of messing it up. ive never done weathering before. i am taking the roof rack off and filling the holes where it comes off.

      @@RCVOODOO you probably can use white caulking if the holes are not that big

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  9 місяців тому +1

      @acrccrawlers9548 I'm gonna tape the bottom so the filter don't fall out then fill with body filler and sand. Will probably use a lesser bright white to repaint. Like an antique white.

    The servo really is rebranded and sold for more? Sorry if I keep asking questions. Got the same truck and to be honest would like to know info like this video to avoid doing mistakes. The wheel info was on point, you showed what wheel works and deep dish also. Other yt channels dont do alot of what you are showing.

      @RCVOODOO  9 місяців тому +2

      yes and yes A LOT more. AFGRC makes almost all the servos you see 👍👍

    Are any inner wings for the Jimny? I just want to say a big thank you for these videos. They have been extremely helpful while i have been looking for spare for my RC Vehicles. I haven't bought an FJ40 or Willys Jeep yet but they are on my to buy list {if i can get hold of them by the time i can afford to buy}

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  9 місяців тому +1

    I have been considering picking one of these up so nice to see how you upgraded it. Just one query, is the angle of the rear shocks not supposed to be the opposite way ? Top of shocks forward rather than backwards?

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  8 місяців тому

      on the real fj they are mounted to the axle and go inward at the top to the inner frame or cross member. my mod is much closer to original then the FMS crazy shock going forward on the outside

    Would 90mm or 100mm shocks fit to make it sit higher?
    I am trying to get all the parts to modify but don't know how to select.

    • @RCVOODOO
      @RCVOODOO  6 місяців тому

      That would make it sit too high and probably put the drive shafts at a very bad angle. You would also need bigger tires or it wouldn't look right

      nothing noticeable. although technically i think the 70mm are either 3 or 5 mm bigger than stock but have plenty of adjustment
