    00:00 Introduction
This will illustrate how considering: time, place, and desired atmosphere can create superior fragrance and outfit combinations.
    00:18 Consider the Season
One of the simplest ways to create harmony between your clothes and your scent is to ensure that each is seasonally appropriate. For clothing, this involves selecting fabrics, weights, cuts, and colors.
02:57 Consider The Time of Day
Just like some garments and fragrances are evocative of certain seasons and climates. The same can be said for day and night.
Some scents immediately put you in mind of a sunny day like green, fruity, or ozonic smells. While others are more typical of the evening like spicy or smoky scents. But some rich and decadent fruit scents, like blood orange, may be more suitable for the evening. While spices like pink pepper or saffron can easily be associated with the daytime.
    05:03 Consider The Expected Formality
In many ways, the formality of scents is less clear-cut than with clothes and is one more way that colognes can be confusing. But in general, fun, vivacious, airy scents are considered more casual while Intense, rarefied, intimate scents tend to be more formal.
07:15 Consider the Situation and Atmosphere
When it comes to establishing a desired mood or atmosphere for your activities or events, both your attire and fragrance can play a part. But that part can be either very obvious or more subtle.
    09:33 Should You Consider Material?
We’ll pause here to acknowledge that some online resources will encourage you to factor in the materials of your garments when selecting fragrances or perfumes.
10:08 What Are Your Personal Associations?
Season, time, formality, and desired atmosphere are all important but at the end of the day, we’re talking about your outfit and fragrance. So don’t neglect your own personality and associations when preparing a scent.
    11:00 Conclusion
Properly paired, the perfect fragrance will elevate any ensemble and we’re sure that that with what you’ve learned. You’re ready to create your own startling scented style sensations.

Hi there, to Kyle, Raphael, Preston and all the guys at GG. As always, great video! I'm a huge fan of your channel, and I'm grateful for the wealth of knowledge you provide to classic style lovers. Is it possible to do a video of the dress style of Raymond Reddington (The Blacklist)? He is always elegantly dressed, and sticks to the classic style colour pallet, and muted tones. I've tried researching what brands of suits, shoes, accessories etc he wears, but sadly, haven't discovered much about this. I've read somewhere that his brand of hats is Borsalino. Thanks again, GG for all the inspiration and information. Sailesh, from South Africa.

For the dry tropical zone fragrances associated with the flora of the region, such as Eucalyptus is associated with great blue sky gentlemen of vision, or for the earthy typology, aromas that indicate parched earth is evocative of the gentlemen adventurer traveller prototype who is ready to trek to Everest base camp and beyond.

👀👀 I didnt know you guys have a sampler pack!! I was hesitant in making a purchacesing because I never felt confident in buying a fragrence online without ever knowing how it smells before hand. This changes everything!

I dare any man to combine Old Spice Pure Sport deodorant with Cocoa Butter lotion, and Brute cologne. See if you dont get incredible results. Theres something about how all three scents combine with your natural smell that creates a lasting and increasing aroma many people can not resist*

A secure man has two scents: one for everyday and one for...amorous encounters. And remember: one should NOT be able to smell your scent more than one foot away. This is non-negotiable.

    • @seansimmons73
      @seansimmons73 2 місяці тому +1

Nope. If your doing something outside you need something with more projection, or if you're going to a nightclub where there are already a lot of smells you need power. One foot is only good at the office. IUsualy, if someone has to sit in your lap in order to smell you, you might as well wear nothing at all

The best fragrance is the one that doesn't stink up everything.
Wait, most perfumes and colognes do just that. Stink everything up.
Never mind then. Just all an ambulance for me as I stop breathing and die from your applied chemical stench.

time and place? BAH HUMBUG! i'll wear spicebomb in the 2 people office in MID SUMMER - just to make a statement. 😎
on a more serious note: i recently got myself the classic timeless POLO by ralph lauren and i was so displeased with this underwhelming "people pleaser" scent.
then it dawned on me - this is exactly THE all year office scent. good to have it now.
