06 BMW E63 650i Manual finally implodes. Mechanically Totaled so I painted the wheels.

After over 5 years of ownership my 2006 BMW E63 650I 4.8 V8 with a 6 speed manual transmission has finally mechanically totaled itself. I still love it though.

I don’t know where you’re at on fixing the coolant leak, but if you do a little research online you will find a much easier fix for that leaking coolant pipe than removing the manifold and such. It is an insert for the pipe and it’s not real expensive.

An insert? So, I'm guessing it would be going in through the water pump? Interesting. Thanks I'll look into it for the next one (I have an x5 with this same v8). Meanwhile, I got the manifold off the 650 about an hour ago. Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting!

@@OGGarrettsGarage don’t give up on it for sure. I sold my 645ci 5 years ago and I regret it all the time. We are still a BMW family, but the 6-series is special in my opinion.
