Great video!! You know you have an amazing original art collection when you casually pull out the original cover for HOS 92 behind an original McFarlane Spiderman cover 😮. Pretty insane!!! 🤯
That Funny Pages is my pick. I hope someday Jon Berk's writings are collected into one volume. The passion and knowledge he had of early comic book history is unparalleled. Plus he was a darn good writer.
Hi Waz. Good call. That book immediately caught my eye too. Love those early Arrows...and that copy is a BEAUT! Appreciate the words about Berk. Certainly a pioneer in collecting.
Thanks so much for having me on. I love talking comics and art. Sharing auction items and pieces from our collection with someone as passionate as you was a pleasure. NOW EVERYBODY MAKE SURE YOU BID IN THE COMICCONNECT AUCTION ENDING MARCH 17-22!!!! LOL. Thanks! VZ
@@kestonsoldschoolcomicbooks6842 Yes, outstanding Keston, comicbook history right there popping out of your video, your content is always of the highest possible level, your commentary always underlines your knowledge of the hobby .
For me it’s gotta be Fantastic Four #74 with that amazing Kirby artwork! Just phenomenal work by one of the greatest artists of our time! Great video, you always have such cool stuff to watch! 😊
What a crazy collection. The House of Secrets 92 and Flash 123 were incredible. I'm tracking a number of books in the ComicConnect auction. They have some great stuff.
I hear ya, Wahoo. That was my reaction too. I thought Vincent might bring out 'Tec 27 b/c it's the highlight of the auction...had no idea about the OA!
Hey man I just bought a storage unit that had some comic books in them there are probably about 10 still in the plastic from years 87-95 plus about 50 out of the plastic, any chance I could share them with you and see what you think
Hi, my friend. Thanks for sending me a message. I’m afraid if the books are not originally 10 cents or 12 cents, I wouldn’t be the best person to ask. One suggestion I have is for you to look these books on eBay and check out past sales. That can give you a reasonable estimate.
I hear ya! I'm always impressed when I see someone handling a high-grade book or art casually. It lets me know that they have been there before. You could bet that my hand would be shaking like crazy :-)
That’s ABSOLUTELY ABSURD!!!! Love that Detective 27, and that HOS 92 cover, but am a HUGE Neal Adams fan too…. I would lose my mind over any of that stuff!!
@@kestonsoldschoolcomicbooks6842 I met him in person at Earl's Court London, charming guy, like you humble nice dude. I've got a Spidey #4 1st sandman waiting to be graded, and a raw nm98 in my wardrobe for the long term. Can't be arsed to buy major keys anymore, after this Keston, going back to my roots and buying what I deem as undervalued mild keys in raw form for fun now. Up to (£10) If I'm really a good spec'er they'll be worth something in 30 years if not I'll have some nicely aged copper keys I can riffle through for fun.

I know. That was fun. It was almost like...yeah, what else is in here. Oh, HOS 92! :-). Good to from you, my friends. Hope all is well in TX.
I have some nice old original art... but seeing this makes me cry... really
Yeah. I hear you. Some of the items coming up for auction are special in their own right...but man, that art at the end.
Stunning OA and books!! Thanks for sharing Keston 👍
Appreciate it, Upnorth

"We're expecting really great things from it".
What kind of things? 🤣
Haha. Maybe a degree in medicine or a contribution to the arts :-)
Absolutely insane wow!
Indeed!

You're welcome. Great to have you on the channel, my friend. I wish you and the rest of CC team good luck with the upcoming auction!
Great vid Keston, Vincent never disappoints with his show and tells , just when you think he cant top something its " hold my cigar "
Hi Cap. Thanks, so much. Yeah...I was thinking "Tec 27" was going to be the highlight of the show...and then...

Hi, Terry! No doubt. It's a bang'n book. One of the best Surfer/Galactus covers.
Speechless …..
Yeah. What can you say?
That House of Secrets 92 - holy cow. I physically felt it went he slid it up.
(Waiting for it)
Yeah, very casual and smooth as if he were handling a poster from eBay. My hands would be shaking.

Hi Shane! Indeed. Let me know if ya win anything in the CC auction. I'm going after a few books myself.
Great video! Visual good.
Thanks for noticing, VV. I tried to integrate some additional images when the books didn't show up clearly on the screen :-)
Mind blown...Detective 27 is my all time grail, but man that is some crazy OA as well
I hear ya, Wahoo. That was my reaction too. I thought Vincent might bring out 'Tec 27 b/c it's the highlight of the auction...had no idea about the OA!
Wow he has a great collection!
Thanks, Kristian. I like the variety, too: modern to golden age.
5 amazing Spider-Man covers by Mcfarlane-wow
Hi Mazzter. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing!
The OA covers of Flash 123 and HOS 92 are mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯
HI Doctor Shawn. Yeah....some BIG OA.

I cannot believe that some of this art still exists. And he's like casually pulling out amazing original artwork.

Hi, CBV. Yeah, it's almost tough to comprehend that much greatness!
Maaaaaaan, I still don't have a copy of HOS92 and he casually whips out the ORIGINAL ART?!?!??!
Hi, Paul! HOS92 was a shocker. You don't see original cover art to a book that big often :-)
I have a better collection
In my dreams 😢😢😢😢😢
Haha. Yeah. It’s tough to compete with Vincent.
