Hubby and I found your videos right after purchasing our Ninja Speedi and want to say thank you. Hubby cooked the very first meal following every suggestion you gave for your spaghetti and meatballs. It was a delicious and now a frequent repeat. Your seasonings make all the difference and now we're using your seasoning suggestions for most recipes we cook. Your friendly approach feels as though you're our next door neighbor giving us some friendly advice. We eagerly look forward to every video you produce as your recipes taste better than those in the cookbook and have better results. THANKS!
Just FYI, Knorr makes a tomato & chicken bouillon powder as well that I like to add to my tomato based recipes and I bet it would make this delicious looking recipe even richer tasting as well !!!
I just happened upon this video while looking for something to cook for dinner in my new Ninja Speedi. This spaghetti came out so good. Even my granddaughter, who doesn't like red sauce, loved it. This is so simple to make. It's a keeper for sure.
I really like the way you edit your videos. Not making us what you put every ingredient in there, or turn things. Other people could take lessons from you! Excellent recipe looks delicious!
Just made this tonight, it was a huge hit!! This was the first time I have used anything other than air fry. I used a full box of pasta, so naturally had to use a bit of water. I was worried because it took quite awhile to get to the count down, but I guess due to all the water that’s to be expected. When all was done, it was a fantastic meal and have leftovers!!!
Thanks Doug, I just made this tonight and it came out pretty good. The hubby approved! I was even able to put my own spin on it like you mentioned and your method made it so easy. I put in half the noodles, two and a half cups of water, about 20 oz of Preggo Meat Sauce, and cut up some Hillshire Smoked Beef Sausage. I put it on steam for 20 mins and the noodles were just right. I air fried some garlic knots but will use Texas toasts next time because I burned them 😂.
I made this recipe today! I doubled the amount (1 box of pasta and two jars of sauce). I used chicken meatballs. 18 minutes later it came out perfectly!! Thank you!
Hey Doug! Thanks for the recipe - we have just bought this Ninja Speedi and tried your meatball pasta today, it's soooo good! Look forward to your other Speedi recipes! :) - Keely and James from England 🇬🇧
First I want to thank you for the variety of recipes that you have with the Ninja Speedi. I learn more with the videos than with books, so this is perfect for me. Today I did this pasta but with a twist. I started with very hot water (otherwise the pasta comes out starchy and my son doesn't like it) and set the speedi to bake, after a few minutes (it was still preheating) the water was boiling so I added the pasta. I did almost 900g of spaghetti but didn't cut the pasta, I let it be in the hot water for a few seconds moving it with my spatula until it was soft enough to just bend and go under the water to cook. (we like long pasta), after that I put the crisper over and set there all the meatballs (they were the Ikea frozen ones) and let the ninja continue cooking. After some minutes (that I thought maybe the meatballs were ready) I opened the speedi and yes, meatballs done so I took them out, checked the pasta, was also done so I added the salsa, all the spices, some parmesan cheese and the meatballs. I mixed all together and turned off the bake setting that in fact never started cooking and switched to saute to give the opportunity to the flavors to come all together and done!. It took no time at all and delicious! Of course, doing it your way, there is no need to be all over the ninja but this is another option. Again thank you for all your recipes, I will be doing more of them these coming days!
We made this for dinner today and it was delicious! Thank you for posting this recipe with instructions too. It was very helpful for this first time user. 😊
Great recipe! I added mushrooms to mine. It turned out perfectly. Thanks for doing recipes outside of the Ninja Speedi box. I almost returned mine for lack of recipes.
So glad I found your channel. Recently got the speedi and cooked a whole chicken in it. Very tasty and juicy. Just made this spaghetti & I LOVE it!! Is there a way to cook acorn squash in the speedi? Would love to see a recipe for that. And I love that you let us “sample” with you - lol.
Just got a speedi.. Here in the UK. Just done some thighs that had a Brazilian citrus marinade, some rice and veggies. The thighs were on a par with nandos.. Maybe not the flame grill nandos is famous for, but they were decent.. My 7 year old lad was licking his plate, so that's high praise.. But I need to change it up, and pasta and meatballs.. How can I fail.. Nice one Doug..🤟
Haven't tried this as yet but I sure am going to try. You made this look so tasty and then you added the garlic, oh my goodness. Will let you know soon how mine turns out.
I'm late to the party. I watched the QVC demo, then Ninja's video, then This video. As usual, You have sold me this product. Add to cart, lol. I actually Screamed when you added the Texas Toast.
I'll try again, guess I did not hit comment. Spoiler. Definitely makes the menu. As you suggested I only used 8 oz of spaghetti. My spaghetti was a little too al dente at 18 minutes. So 2 minutes more. I had a dz meatballs so that is enough for another meal and a grinder. Really happy with the results. Great meal for a small family. No way anyone goes away hungry
What Up Doe Doug! You just made one of my favorite meals. I was waiting on you to throw a couple of pieces of catfish in the fryer. I had the rapid cooker but took it back because I had a hard time fine tuning the simple task of air frying in it without overcooking. I may repurchase and give it another chance if you continue to tempt me with more videos like this. By the way, do you think I could pull this off in the possible cooker pro some kind of way? Thx Doug
Yum! Thanks for posting! How would you make a small lasagna in this? Can you prepare the lasagna in a small springform pan? Would you use steam & bake, steam? Thank you for any advice Doug!
So is the one finger nail measurement metric? Just kidding,I do the same shit. It came out insanely delicious, thanks for the instructions dude. Meatball:spaghetti ratio perfect!
Hi Doug, still debating on whether to get the Ninja Speedi, every video when you're using the Speedi, I Definitely need to get one, looked on Amazon wait time, 2-4 weeks. Doug I have to say, with all of your cooking appliances and gadgets, for a gal who likes all of the newest appliances and gadgets, you'd be her Dream husband, for sure!
Hi Doug your food looks delicious.. I’ve just purchased the speedi and still learning about it…. Can you half the ninja speedi meals , new subscriber 💕
Thank you so much for a great review and video, This was released in the UK this week so I have now ordered mine thanks to your fabulous review. Keep up the great work , All the best from the UK 🇬🇧🫶😀xx
Has your Ninja Speedi ever taken a lot longer than 10 minutes to heat up? I got one for Christmas, tried making this using the steam function and 20 minutes in, it still hadn't heated up.
No...ITS STEAMING 🤷🏾♂️ pressure cooking is like 7xs the Steam & pressure cooking keeps ALL of the Steam in until the end unlike steaming...2 different processes
I enjoy your videos & my new Speedi. Trying the spaghetti, meatballs & garlic bread tonight! Doug, is there "any way" you can stop with the putting the food up to the camera and saying "have a bite?" It's cute the 1st time, but super annoying when done so much. Kind of dumb for obvious reasons. Don't hate me, besides THAT, I enjoy your vids!

Bread def shows the hot spots on that machine
Agreed - I was surprised to see how uneven it cooked the bread. Kind of disappointing for a pricey item like this.
