Momotaro doesn't like getting dirty and always sits on something.
And Kintaro who goes back and forth many times while drumming in front of Momotaro sitting on the hemp bag.
Finally, Kintaro threw the poop at Momotaro.(02:59〜)
Of course Momotaro immediately dismissed the poop.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ It is a habit from a young age that Genki sometimes holds his head on rainy or cold days, and it is not a disease.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner.Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

These close in face shots of momo show what a handsome silver back he is, stunning. Genki is a perfect pairing, her face is so sweet, such expressive eyes especially when she looks at her boys. The boys are going to be heartbreakers for sure when they're grown up.
Momo always looks grumpy But then he'll do something sweet like gently rub his thumb on the top of little Kintaro's hand. I think he's fascinated by Kintaro.
Dad let Kinney know he didn't appreciate him throwing poop at him. Kinney's reflexes on point though and he doesn't run like Gentaro 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
because he is a baby and knows daddy isnt going to hurt him with Gentaro who is almost a silver back , momo would hurt him

Where is the mother? These animals are so intelligent.
kintaro always seems so itchy, maybe he has skin issues or some sort of parasite. Looks like he got some sort of injury on one of his ears too. Poor little fella, but other than that he seems like a happy baby.
You can tell he’s examined often. They seem to take great care of these gorillas and I’m envious of their jobs. 😊
@@candyc.3163 Yes I can see that they are examining/observing them and seem to really care for them. Just my own observation of his itchiness lol, but yes...to have their job would be very rewarding. Makes me sad that they can't be in the wild, or have a much bigger enclosure though. But I'm sure they do the best they can. At least they are not in danger of being poached :)

Momotaro is a first time father as I understand it. He and his wife have grown into extremely well adjusted and capable parents with this young boy. It is a shame that they had to "train" as parents to the detriment of their first born. Yet it seems that even human parents are vulnerable to the same errors.

Momo looks disgusted but doesn't get angry 👍 he is truly the treasure of silverbacks! Not only very beautiful but of very good character. He is pretty honorable, obviously loves his family. I wish Genki and Momo had better interaction, she always looks scared to death when he approached.
I think at the 3 minute mark, but you have to watch closely. It happens quickly.

This big silverback is bored out of. His mind.
Momotaro is one of the most handsome silver back gorilla I've ever watched , he is definitely a good looking one , the only thing he's to serious , I watch another gorilla's family and , don't remember now his name but I watched a video that made laugh a lot , the male was playing with his wife in a very adorable way , she was playing hard to get but not for long and I was so surprised about how much physically the got with each other. Momo is a good father but to serious most of the time .
I know of course Gorillas are big (I mean the male ones, which reach two meters).
But seeing Momotaro compared to his keeper shows me HOW big!
He is so lovely, so I always forget about his size.
I *wished* they had a different enclosure. Yesterday I saw a video Lieke had made. 'Mies goes for a wlk' or so. Mies is a little girl and around Kintaro's age. To see her walking through the meadows, finding something tasty, meeting g one of the Manhabeys which live with the Gorillas, and so on. She even met the Silverback without any fear. They have lots of space and do not become nervous. I would LOVE to give my sweet Momotaro and his family those opportunities

the difference with European zoos is immense. there is a report by H.Yoshida (it's on Google) that talks about the subject and specifically about the case of genki and biju (momo's dad)

Totally agree, if we are going to keep these magnificent animals in captivity then we have a duty to enhance their lives with space, healthy diet and an enviroment that at least resembles their natural habitat.
Mies may have meadows to roam, but Kintaro has beams to walk and slide on , ropes, ladders, trees, balls, hanging tires, old plant containers, hammocks, swings, and old tires to climb. Etc. lots to do
In the beginning when Momotaro is sitting with ms Kim why can't she ever give him something? Even if its the grass or a branch. It wouldn't hurt geez.

At 3:22 is the exact look my dad would give me when I was annoying him. He of course would never backhand me but I’m so amazed how humanlike that gesture is! I just love little Kintaro! I can watch him all day! Definitely my favorite gorilla family. I wonder what he will do if he gets a new baby sister or brother!
6:00 genki mouth watering “can I get a bite ?? Please ??” 🤣 It looks like they may have not been feeling the best this day , maybe cold ? I’ve come to the conclusion when I see signs of runny noses , using blankets, holding heads & low energy & irritation. Like humans no one is happy if they feel off ! Tho kintaro seems happy everyday , just a bundle of joy he is ❣️

How Kintaro walked feeling great and impressing while drumming his belly! Momotaro looked in disbelieve: 'what da hell is dat?'; then yawned, and suddenly- Kintaro saw Daddy's teeth- Kintaro left the " I am impressingg'- mode and, though trying to move impressing still, tarted to run and hopping, like a little rabbit!
Anyone else notice Momo's facial expression at the 3:22 mark…? ” I should punch you" is what I got from it.

Kintaro pooped when he was playing with the lady at 1:59 min. He picked it up, and at 2:59 min as he walked Momotaro, he artfully threw poop with his right hand and immediately tapped his head with his right hand as a diversion (?). Momotaro noticed it and flung it away. As Kintaro continues to play near Momotaro, Momotaro gives him a "You better not!" look at 3:22 min

Please give them more appropriate place similar to their habitat. This is cruel, don't try to be kind to him. He is a grown up father confused as hell why he is in this tiny place with metals around him.

It would be nice if the keepers could provide a bit more enrichment for the gorillas besides clapping, scratching, and tickling them. Maybe they do and we don't see it but every video is the same with this. However they do seem to love the gorillas but how bored these poor gorillas must get. Give them something different once in a while. Maybe some different types of toys too if possible. They might enjoy some type of water feature as well. I know they don't like to get full on wet but they still might like something to do with water once in a while.

I feel so sad for this male gorilla! He sits day after day in sm all enclosure exposed to the mood of a little two year old hurricane that never sits still. That is no life for a male in his prime! It seems torture to me. He needs to have access to outside 24/7 where he can climb tress and find some peace or just sit in the sun. He just sits and looks dumbfounded....like in shock for most of the time. I realize he can not be set free, but could they not collect some money to make his life richer or even sell him and his family to a zoo that has just what he needs.
Aww looks like kintaro either has allergies that make him itchy or flees. I have a dog that is allergic to the grass we have so we have to give him medication. Humans get weird allergies too, maybe they should see of he is allergic to something in the enclosure.

Does Genki have some type of anxiety with food as well? She’s always eating super fast and seems like she is always hungry. I’ve seen her snatch food out of Kintaro’s hands too luckily he’s learned to keep a tight grip on his food and has learned to move away from her a bit while he’s eating. I know they get plenty of Genki’s favorite grass for her and there’s only 4 of them so it’s a much smaller group then others so it’s just kind of odd how she is with food. Even Momotaro doesn’t seem to be in much of a rush to eat...He’s possessive of his food but I don’t see him snatching food from the babies or frantically looking around or rushing for the food.
