I'm a little sad they never used the divination again that they introduced in this episode. The Mirror claims she was "lost". Though most other cards are pretty happy to be "free". I guess Mirror is an exception? Reflections aren't much without the one they are reflecting.
I remember watching the original Cardcaptors back in 2002 and I did started to like this series from Nelvana I just wished it's finally released onto SDBD Blu-Ray at last just like Beyblade, Shaman King, Sonic X, Dinosaur King, Saber Riders and the Star Sheriff and Ultimate Muscle.
The mirror just wanted to play but can't tell if she's hurting someone or not with her game. And she helped Sakura find out what card she is by mimicking her movement. Mirror card is not a bad card.
how and when did some of you guys watch this? I watched this dub as a CHILD(5 or 6 years old) and I'm 21 now. did you guys watch it the original Japanese online?
I actually never seen the original Japanese version but that's mainly cause I am more familiar with the original dub to this back when it aired on Teletoon and basically this is one of those animes where I can't really get used to the original Japanese version if you want me to be honest like I guess it really just depends on the anime for me since I can watch Date A Live in Japanese with English Subs no problem.
@@Yoshirocks92 interesting. For me, I will watch an anime dubbed in English if that's how I watched it growing up. I want to try being more open to English dubbed anime also.
I would’ve just pulled out my iPhone and google searched a list of words similar to copy until it responded to the correct one. Like: “bitch hold it right there! *click click click* MIMIC! No? Ok, how about MIME! Nope. Then it’s... REFLECTION! Wait, let’s start from the A-words. Hoooold on. Stay right there and witness the magical power of technology!”
If people are here just to moan about the dub then leave. The music and atmosphere is so much better than the original. The Japanese I couldn't actually stand the voices but I liked the story much better. Oh and plus there are worser dubs out there too
I love how elitest the japanse dub fanbase is like everyones saying she sounds like she was voiced by an adult unlike the original when it’s literally the other way round
As a Japanese who usually watches both sub and dub version of same anime, I tend to say “they are both good in different ways”. But I have to say the music effect in dub version is... not so good. Whoever edited dub version might thought “OK! I’m gonna put this cheesy music and sound effect to make it better” didn’t have a good taste in sound effect. That tacky sound effects in the dub version might be “kids friendly” but as an anime, it’s simply not good. It’s too cartoonish and ruining the atmosphere. The music composer of original version would be disappointed if they here what dub version has done to their carefully put original music. I understand if you prefer dub version but you saying “Dub version is so much better” is just simply bullshit.
I won't lie i can't even remember writing this. Edit: I'm pretty sure i mentioned this because here we are on the English dub on YT and people will still complain about it, I was getting pretty tired of it in the comments. Why come here just to complain? I didn't go search up the JP dub and moan there, does this make sense? And yes I've watched both, it took a while for me to get used to Sakura's voice, but anyway - I highly prefer the original (JP) story to the dub. I still prefer the sound effects and added music in the dub though, possibly because I grew up with it. What I was saying was that it could be a lot worse like the Pokemon dub for example. Okay yes they butchered the plot for CCS, but it wasn't all that bad.
God this English dub is awful! They can't even say Sakura right... Edit: not to mention Nelvana Americanized this a magical girl anime into an “action cartoon for boys”
Did anyone else hear the Mirror card say"I'm sorry."?
ButterflyDragon yep
ButterflyDragon yeah it did - even in the books, so sweet~
Yes, she was extremely guilty
She didn't mean to hurt him
I heard her say that, too🐺☝️🐺😉.
I'm a little sad they never used the divination again that they introduced in this episode.

Good point
I always loved Mirror and how you could capture her. I remember trying to guess what her name was and ending up with "Mimic". Hehe
She assisted sakura in sealing her as a repentance for hurting Tori
Mirror has feelings for Tori .... how sweet and beautiful 🙂💖

Of course it isn't
Mirror is pretty, and she really seemed like she was sorry for what she did
The Clow card which I like is Mirror and Windy
Mirror card is so cute. >u
I love her most when Kinomoto Touya gift her a long ribbon after she take sakura's place. She wear it in her long hair. So pretty.
I feel so sorry for the mirror card
mirror is a sweet card
I love this dub of English
Me too. I've been searching for "revelations" in this dub for quite some time. Apparently the second part isn't available on UA-cam
oh no, the original JP was better. the dub version remove the original BGM and Sfx. just try watch the original 👍👍
When she said Tori, i was like 🤨🤨🤨 his name is Touya, right? And then i read wiki and learned that this version changed their real names.
oh damn it. Wanted to watch in japanese dub! T^T
how and when did some of you guys watch this? I watched this dub as a CHILD(5 or 6 years old) and I'm 21 now. did you guys watch it the original Japanese online?
I guess I was around ten when I watched this. Japanese was way better than this...,honestly.

Flip phones are the cutting edge in this anime. This is the nineties
Gosh dude please for once enjoy the anime as it is.
This is old so no internet to cheat
And y did they change the music :(((((
It's one of the rules of dubbing anime for kids. Take out the great Japanese music, and replace with new bland music.
@@pikaszablak7933 Except Pokemon, we have "Jelly Filled Donuts" Instead
Aw c'mon the music for Nelvana's dub ain't THAT bad
@makachop4242564 Some of us grew up with the dub. Go away.
what episode is this??
Double Take

@@kriblar98 her voice is more fitting for a 9 year old in the japanese version here she sounds like a 16 year old she doesnt even sound like a girl

When I first watched it, it was English and I enjoyed it.

Yes finally someone agrees with me
WHAT?! Aw come on! I watched this when I was 5-6-7 years old and I found the English fine until I stumbled upon the original Japanese version!
Dadacomero as opposed to the current Pokémon one this is Funnimation compared to that
This scene give me cancer
