It's the dynamic duo!! Yes!! Let's Go!!!
Dynamic duo, indeed! It's pretty rare for me to be up at 4 AM, or trying to hike 30 miles in a single day, unless I'm hiking with Jason 😂
❤❤❤
Hike in a beautiful forest, great route 😊👍💪
Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along and to leave some kind words! 🙂 ✌
❤❤❤
That is a heck of a lot of hiking for one day! And you have time to stop for a burger in the middle of it. Sweet.
For sure! Usually, around 20 miles is plenty for me 😂 It helped getting an early start, and by the time we got around the halfway point, we started doing the math to figure out if we could make that burger stop work... definitely some extra motivation! Thanks for taking the time to follow along, and I hope you have an outstanding weekend 👍 ✌
Great forest for hiking.Relaxing place and beautiful nature.Relaxing birds chirping.Enjoy and keepsafe
What an exciting scenery and beautiful Kettle Moraine State Forest tour videos my friend. Big like and always connected 👍👍
Thank you very much! Best wishes to you!
Wow beautiful nature my friend thanks for sharing po God bless
Great forest for hiking, looks so green lush and some lovely birds chirping. Thank you for wonderful sharing ❤️👍👍
I really enjoy this area, and it's pretty close to home, for me! Summer has definitely arrived in the forest... It was very lush and green, and we were even lucky to get a slightly cooler day, when the bugs weren't too bad! 😁 Thanks for taking the time to follow along, and I hope you have a great weekend 👍 ✌
Wow, that's wonderful! I love this place, it is really beautiful and I'm a big hike fan! Like 25 💚
Great hike my friend! Such beautiful nature all around there! Best regards Janis 🤠👋
Thank you so much for taking the time to follow along and for the kind words!
Hi😲 amazing video and nice place dear friend again 💐🍷🍷
This must have been a nice and relaxed hike with Jason. Great for pushing the boundaries.🏆 Beautiful green spring landscapes. ☘L5
We definitely chose a segment with a bunch of rolling hills, rather than very steep climbs, and we gave ourselves plenty of time to finish... That helped to keep things relaxed. And having time to detour for a burger and a beer was definitely a bonus 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to follow along!
I can't believe you hiked that much in one day. You are amazing!
I really appreciate that! I've got to give Jason a lot of the credit... I'm not sure I would've even attempted this, if he hadn't inspired me 😁 If there's one thing I learned from it, though, it's "Push your limits -- you never know what you might be capable of, unless you try!" Thanks for taking the time to follow along! Hope you have a great weekend 👍 ✌
My hat is off to the both of you. There's no way I could hike that far in a day. Thanks for taking me along...even if I was just sitting in my living room. 😉
Thanks so much! When I'm out hiking with my dog, Raven, we rarely exceed 5 miles (especially when it's warm out) 🙂 I definitely had to work up to this one, and I probably wouldn't have even attempted it without Jason's encouragement. It was rewarding to have been able to accomplish something like this, though. A pleasure to have you along -- thanks for choosing to spend some of your time with us! 👍 ✌
@@OutOnTrail Glad to be here, looking forward to your next one. 👍
32 Miles!!!! that is an impressive hike. This video made me feel like I was walking the trails with you guys, nicely filmed!!!!
I wasn't sure I had it in me, before we started, but I felt great up until around the 20-mile mark... Those last 5-ish miles really got pretty tough, though 😂 I appreciate you taking the time to follow along, and I really appreciate the kind feedback!!!
Nice share friend ❤
Wow natural beauty bro❤😮
Wow, that was a long hike. You didn’t even look tired at the end. Way to go.👍
Thanks, Craig! I can assure you I FELT tired at the end 😂 Appreciate you taking the time to follow along 👍 ✌
30 + is a big mileage day bros well done. Beautiful trail too.
Thanks, Chris! You should come on up and check out some of the Ice Age Trail... I'd be happy to put together a route that involves more reasonable mileage and even better scenery! 😁
A very good hikng experience👌👌👌
Thank you for showing us this amazing trail, look at the tree looks like the compwting with each other💚💚💚
Stay safe and fit👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along and to leave some kind words! 🙂 ✌
That is awesome hiking that far. Fun to watch the journey. Thanks for taking me along and congrats, 👍 Cheers
A pleasure having you along for the journey! It gave me some extra energy to know I'd be sharing the story 🙂 Thanks so much for the support and encouragement! 👍 ✌
Oh my gosh! 32.5 miles in one day! I can't even imagine doing this distance in km, let alone in miles! You guys rock! Hope you get a well-deserved after-hike meal 🍽
Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along! We felt pretty good for most of the day, but those last few miles definitely got tough... One thing you can always count on, though, is that I'm planning my post-hike meal as motivation to get me through those tough miles at the end 😂
Beautiful video! Great sound and footage 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice! That detour :) !!! Looked like a perfect day!
The Ice Age Trail is cool in that it offers a surprising amount of opportunities for this kind of detour. Jason also has a knack for remembering the locations of these types of places, or spotting them on a map mid-hike 😂 It was a pretty perfect day, except for the wildfire smoke, but we've definitely seen worse this summer 😷 Thanks for taking the time to follow along, Liz!
Good afternoon my fellow vloggers, Thanks for sharing such an enjoyable and perfect video for us to watch and love! Keep up the magnificent work dear friends, Have a great week ahead and stay safe~
Thank you! You too!
O my! Way to go! Amazing hiking 👌🌟🌟🌟 Great that you could team up with Jason! My longest day ever was 16 mi, and you doubled that!! I’m usually good for 10ish. Whew, very impressive, congratulations! 🙌🙌🙌👍
Thanks, Jennifer! I smashed my previous personal best (in the mid 20s) with this one, but I probably wouldn't have even attempted it, had it not been for Jason's encouragement 😁 I think a 10-mile day is great, and even when I'm pushing myself, 15-20 is usually more than enough, depending upon the terrain (and especially if I'm trying to film along the way) 😂 Appreciate you taking the time to follow along! Hope you have an awesome weekend 👍 ✌
good video, a very nice route and well edited!! Congratulations 👍☺️
Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along and for the kind feedback! Hope you have a great weekend! ✌
Beautiful trail! Lush green forest and field look amazing. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Japan.
Thank you so much for taking the time to follow along and for the kind words!
I know this feeling ..
I did 56 km .. its such a cool experience
Nice work! 👍 ✌
Beautiful, well-maintained trail. I can imagine this solo but my son can only hike a mile so far 😅. That water definitely looked tempting after all those miles.
The Ice Age Trail is super well-maintained (and all by volunteers)! This is what I grew up hiking on, so it was kind of an adjustment when I started hiking in other places 😂 I'm sure your son will be crushing miles in no time 😁✌ Thanks for taking the time to follow along!
What a beautiful long hike!!! What was that animal making the funny noises on the trail? I couldn't see it well. Thanks for the video. Pura vida
Same little baby raccoons from the Short I posted! I shot the Short with my phone and used the built-in zoom when I shot it... I just didn't punch in far enough on the GoPro footage in my edit 😬 Always appreciate you taking the time to follow along! ✌
Big hiking day 🥾😊 but looks like a nice trail
Indeed! This trail is near and dear to my heart because I grew up within a 15-minute drive from the nearest trailhead... The entirety of the trail is around 1200 miles, and it's one of only 11 National Scenic Trails -- a special designation in our National Trails System 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
@@OutOnTrail I can only imagine walking that far! I tend to hit a while at mile 40 on longer trails. The most I have managed is 96 miles in total and I found that tough going 😅
You guys did great! How heavy were your bags? 30 miles in a day must have drained you guys....suffer any fatigue? Shin splints? Blisters? I ask because I have a rule not to exceed 10 miles in a day or I will start getting some of those symptoms....but recently I did a 12 mile hike that had me doubting my "rule". Thanks for the post...I was there last fall and it is so nice there.....except the rolling hills can be brutal lol
Looked a great day of hiking. Very peaceful place. A few racoons spotted. That's a lot of miles. I think my record is 16 🙂
I was a little surprised to see so many raccoons during the day, but we were pretty deep in the forest. 16 miles is a good day! That's more in my comfort zone... The last few miles of this effort were definitely pretty challenging. Thanks for taking the time to follow along!
Man this looks so easy. We should try it again😂
I'm sure we could cook up some ways to make it more difficult... We can trade packs, or you could do it barefoot -- something like that? 😂😂😂
@@OutOnTrail 🤣🤣
Wow, a 30 mile day. I haven't quite hit that yet. Nice!
I would have gone .2 for that burger.😂
Take care!
I'm sure you could do it, especially after all your Grand Canyon training 👍 One of the cool things about the Ice Age Trail is the ability to make some quick side trips into civilization, and Jason has a knack for convincing me to deviate for food (We did an overnight last year, where we had both dinner and a late breakfast in restaurants)... To be fair, though, I'm pretty easily convinced by a burger 😂 Thanks for taking the time to follow along -- Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
I'm doing this alone this weekend but in 3 days and not 1. Lol.
That sounds like a more reasonable approach 😂 Hope you have a great trip! Should be around peak for fall colors 👍
