Thanks for the Video Arn, great seeing your proces. i am just starting my mokume journey and it is so fun but also challenging. I am doing some experiments with the kiln fired process. I See you didnt use a Metal envelope and coal to Fire your billet, do you coat it with firescoff or use an Intert Gas to combat oxidation? Would love to get your Insight
That was just hot pressing the fused billet, I do use a stainless container and activated charcoal when I fuse in the kiln and firescoff when I torch fire. Good luck and have fun!
