The only thing I believe could be changed to make these games top tier would be a in depth story line, romance storylines for your camp to bring the game more of a realistic feel to it. And better aiming mechanics while it’s good it could be fleshed out alil bit better
@@roxqu Just thinking about the last time I played that game, from memory it's similar isn't it? What aspects of combat would you want from The Last of Us added into State of Decay?
@@KingAirJordy Personally its just how it feels, like look up last of two combat gameplay and you can tell how smooth the camera is and you can tell that your weapons hit hard. I just like the crouch kinda movement and little animations that go with it. State of decay 2's movement is a bit stiff but its more or less animations look a bit off
If they did that it wouldn't be the same game anymore, the survivors are procedurally generated, they only really have unique dialogue when you first get to know them, the story is driven by characters outside your community, all this is put in place because with a system that has permanent death it'd be a crazy amount of work and money to put all kinds of writing, character development, and voice acting and shit into characters who could die and be gone forever literally at any moment, if they added all the things you're saying you want, they'd have to take permanent death out, which would give the game a completely different feel, risks wouldn't be risks anymore cause you could just load a previous save. It wouldn't feel like you're trying to survive as much as it does. All that stuff would be nice but it wouldn't be SoD anymore, there's other games that have that stuff.

Mid 2023 at this stage, unfortunately.. quite the wait. Hopefully it will be worth it! With all the new gen consoles and capabilities.. It should be!
