The Rake part is wrong Insomniac games made a follow up tweet saying they weren't actually in on it they just were taking advantage of the latest viral meme
It's wild seeing the higher resolution image of the Rake in this video. Much easier to make out how digitally altered the image is. That one was very convincing 10 years ago.
The teletubbies picture isn't really that creepy. That's what costumes were like in the 90s. I have a photo of me and my family with Mr Blobby, where you can see the man's wrist because the costume was terrible. Also, Dennis Bergkamp played for Arsenal, as you can see in the picture, it's an English hospital bed.
The whole “Rake” subject is a unique one. Long story short “The Rake” is a fictional, creepy pasta internet creation. The supposed trail cam photo in the first clip I’ve been on the fence for years on that one. There are hundreds of supposed legit sightings (that far precede “The Rake”) of a tall, pale, emaciated creature or being throughout North America. Referred to as “Pale Crawlers” they share a similar appearance with the ancient “Ghoul”, certain Skinwalkers and Wendigos. Look into with an open mind while keeping a skeptical eye open. I personally believe there’s some truth to some of it. My only credentials being that I’ve spent more time in the remote outdoors of N.America camping, hiking, floating, hunting, fishing than most any average 15-20 people over the past 40 years. I’ve had experiences, sightings and sounds that I still cannot explain.
I would love to hear about some of the things you've seen & sounds you've heard that you can't explain. I love hearing stories about cryptids & sounds that just don't make sense.
I think the rake is the best creepypasta. Its genuinely scary looking and vague enough on the lore that it sets your imagination to run free. It couldnt be presented as a "sexy anime boy" anywhere near as often as slenderman or Jeff the killer so it retained its mysterious nature and lack of humanity. It's original backstory is simply that it somehow gets into your house if you live deep in the woods and stares at you at the end of your bed and someone may spontaneously die. Its semi-supernatural, not a ghost, but it breaks reality and the danger it presents is unpredictable. There are more questions than answers when it comes to the rake and that's the way it should be
I’m so relieved to see someone else who has that experience! Seeing stuff like that and being unable to find any other people who’ve seen it is frustrating. I used to do sketches of them and anatomy. Sadly that got me locked up in a psychiatric hospital for nearly 2 months. Police were involved and I was nearly given criminal charges for god knows what reason. My work is gone now but I’m determined to keep studying them and spreading awareness. I thought that people just didn’t believe in these things but actually getting locked up and prosecuted for even being aware of these things is just outright disgusting. It may be for other reasons but for all I know, it was because of my work, and something about ‘endangering’ people. I mean I was out in the woods for days at a time with weapons and making traps and cameras and stuff, but I did it where people never went. I even got what I thought was a few plausible photos and now that’s all gone.
I always thought the staircase looked familiar but i couldn't put my finger on it. Seeing Beechenhurst it makes sense now. It was part of the sculpture trial at Beechenhurst in the Forest of Dean, UK. I definitely saw it at some point when i was a kid as I live in the area, but was not aware it had been decommissioned since. Pretty unfortunate.
I feel like he didn't entirely answer the SAR thing. He asks if it was "real or a hoax," & the answer is neither: It was started by a user on nosleep, & if you saw his OOC posts, there was a clear understanding it wasn't real. You CAN find staircases in the woods for various reasons--hunting platforms that are no longer there, cabins that have been torn down, and the like--but the author (in-character) decided to assert that the spooky story stairs looked nothing like those.
I think the most likely explanation about the teletubbies picture is that they were a company that weren't licensed to use the teletubbies name or likeness so they made their own similar costumes and did a bad job. Zoomers will try to make anything look creepy.
@@CheapSquierBassPlayer Most of these images are *older than any zoomer.* These are *millenial* images, if anything. And we thought they were creepy as hell back when they first appeared online, too.

I think one terrifying thing about the rake is despite its fiction it is so close to something thats tangible. I can recall my friend recounting all her strange experiences at her haunted house- one so vividly reminded me for her description to me of the rake. So we just started calling whatever that creature was, the rake. Because id seen it too. Once when taking the dogs out, not quite like that, but all the still bonechilling.
I don't remember ever seeing the rake image as a kid, but I still subconsciously pictured something like the Rake whenever I heard the word rake. I don't know if I saw the picture and forgot, or if rake is just a creepy sounding word
the mikey one never really scared me, since the mask themself looks very much afraid with how big the eyeballs are and how little the pupils are, and with the addition of floppy ears. It feel like this wittle guy just got himself lost, and I want to give them a hug.
*What makes a picture scary is really how dim the colors are especially old internet pictures and old quality videos...now these days camera quality is more advanced and clearer so when you see something off on camera these days you KNOW what your seeing than question if you seeing it right or not....*
I'm not really much of a creepypasta fan at all, but I love the Search And Rescue stories. They were deliciously disturbing and well put-together. And there are enough weird but true cases of disappearances in national parks that give those stories just enough credence to make you entertain the possibilities.
Something to add that kinda makes the actual Teletubbies terrifying is that they are deceptively larger than they appear in the show. The suits are roughly nine feet tall excluding the antenna
remember first hearing the rake creepypasta when I was about 8 and then proceeded to tell it to everyone I knew, saying it lived in the woods at the bottom of our housing estate. stuck around a local story to scare kids with now
So, around the age of nine, I had seen the Teletubby image. And I was shook to the core. I hadn't overcome my fear of Telletubbies until I dressed up as Po for Halloween.
How to make Freddy Fazbear's pizza Preparation time 20 minutes Cooking time 12 - 15 minutes What you will need All-purpose flour or semolina, for dusting 2 balls of Pizzaplex Master Dough (I'll do that later) ½ cup/4¼ Oz/120g Easy Plex Pizza Sauce (I'll do that later) ½ cup/5 Oz/140g grated mozzarella cheese 24 slices pepperoni 2 tbsp capers (optional) Fresh arugula/rocket to garnish 1. Preheat the oven to 425°F/220°C/gas mark 7. If you are using a pizza stone, put that in the oven to heat up. 2. On a lightly floured surface, roll or stretch out a ball of the dough until it measures roughly 11 inches/28 cm in diameter. Repeat to roll out the other pizza. 3. Spread half the Easy Plex Pizza sauce over the bases leaving a thin edge bare for the crusts. 4. Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over each base. Divide the pepperoni between the pizzas and scatter each with capers. 5. Cool for about 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and you have a nice golden crust. 6. Cut each pizza into 8 slices and sprinkle arugula leaves on top of each slice.
Pizzaplex master dough Preparation time 30 minutes Resting time 1 hour What you will need Generous 1½ cups/13 fl Oz/375ml lukewarm water 2¼ TSP/¼ Oz/7 g dried yeast 1 TSP sugar 3¾ cups/1 lb 2 oz/500g unbleached flour plus extra for dusting ⅔ cups/3½ Oz/100g fine semolina 1 TSP salt 4 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for greasing 1. In a bowl, mix the warm water, yeast and sugar together and leave to one side until foamy 2. Combine the flour, semolina, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in the foaming yeast liquid and olive oil. Using the handle of a wooden spoon bring the mixture together to form a dough. 3. Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth. Brush the inside of a large bowl with olive oil and place until doubled in size-about an hour should do the trick. 4. Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a log shape. Divide the dough onto four even portions. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out to about 12" in diameter and top with whatever you like. Cornmeal or fine semolina is great to stretch pizza dough.
Easy Plex pizza sauce What you will need 14 Oz/400g can of chopped tomatoes 2 tbsp tomato paste/purée 1 TSP dried oregano ½ TSP sugar Salt and pepper to taste 1. Strain the canned tomatoes through a sieve into a bowl, pressing the tomatoes through the mesh with the back of a spoon. Stir in all the other ingredients and there you have it-no cooking required!

The staircase one!!! There's a staircase like that in the woods behind my house. My neighbors told me that it was a developer that tried to build condos in the woods there, but was shut down by the town because they're considered wetlands and it's illegal to build on them because of the wildlife. But he'd already started building by the time the town stopped him, so there's just a lot of lumber and a weird stair case in the woods now.

I distinctly remember being in my high school biology class in like 2010 when someone mentioned a local news report they had seen about an alien someone captured on their trail cam. We all crowded around the computer and watched the local news tell the story and then show that picture of The Rake. This was the first time I had seen it and it scared the crap out of me. This was allegedly in Berwick, Louisiana. I heard later it was actually from some marketing campaign, but you can imagine seeing a picture like that on the news was quite a shock!
The rake gives me the same feeling when I first saw it but I love it. It was my first time seeing a real life fake creature truly a nostalgic feeling for me thank you
The only creepy thing in this video is that I've seen the stairs in the woods in a dream around two or three months ago, and this is the first time seeing it in the real world. It's the exact same forest too, even if the stairs weren't there

Omg i get like chills whenever I see smile dog. When I first saw it, I was staying at my grandma’s and would be afraid to go into the attic because it reminded me of smile dog. I would force someone to go up there if i wanted to get something and sleeping there everyday was horrible. I still kinda get creeped out every time I see him lol
Finally someone is talking about the Mickey Mouse Basement photo! I've seen it so many times for nearly 5 years now, and I've always wondered why nobody talks about it. Thank you!
So the stairs in the woods have a valid explination. It's likely that at some point a house used to be there, but eventually rotted away. Stairs (and sometimes doorways) are usually more sturdily built due to being solid stone or concrete.
Yeah, I live near a wood which used to have a hospital in. There’s nothing left except for some brick platform things and the stone stairs, because everything else was destroyed ages ago
I visited a friend in rural west Virginia earlier this year. It was my first time visiting the state and one of the first things they said after I met his family. “We don’t go in the woods at night” and I was like alright kinda of a weird thing to say. We went out that day and rode around on a 4 wheeler his family owns 189 acres in north west West Virginia. His property is beautiful with a log cabin that sits on the top of a hill over looking there family house below. Honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been being from the city. Anyways they have fires often burning sticks and debris so later that night I asked him about what his dad said. Keep in mind it’s just me and him in his backyard having a small bon fire near the forests edge. I asked him if he had any paranormal stories or ghost stories to tell. He said no but there was this one time. He goes on to tell me how him and his buddy would go out camping in the woods. They would bring nothing but a knife and basic supplies and build shelters kind of like a survival thing. They would go out a couple miles into the woods since there isn’t too many house around. One night while they were out looking for fire wood. Him and his buddy were walking on this trail at night. They had flash lights with them. He tells me he felt like something was watching him. And then all of a sudden he sees this naked man run on all 4s right across the trail. He said it was pale white and looked similar to the rake thing online. Him and his buddy both witnessed it and turned and ran a couple miles home he said he’d never run that fast in his life.
There’s other stories from people in his area involving hearing screams in the woods and among other things. The reason why I tell this story is because it’s the only time I’ve heard I first hand account of someone having an experience like that you always hear about it online and see videos but this was different because it’s real life especially with his parents saying they don’t go out at night because of weird things happening now of course there’s bob cats and bears and some locals say there’s mountain lions but they don’t talk about that most of them carry guns wherever they go especially in the woods and can deal with animals but no one can prepare for seeing shit like that

We lived on 3 acres of woods in central PA. There's stairs everywhere out there. We didn't build them, they didn't lead anywhere or have an obvious purpose. We had 4 sets on our property. All old. Not newly built.
One of me old photography teachers actually used it as an example for something, I can't remember what it was a long time ago, and one of my classmates said something about it being a creepypasta and my teacher told us about the artist and the art piece
The stairs in the woods literally started on a subreddit focused on fictional stories. The author never even intended for it to be taken as "real", people just can't read very well

The Rake part is wrong Insomniac games made a follow up tweet saying they weren't actually in on it they just were taking advantage of the latest viral meme
9:25 i’m convinced its a teenager dressing up as creepy mickey in a weird basement for a meme
It was probably the knockoff brand costume😂😂
i wanna see it!

There are more questions than answers when it comes to the rake and that's the way it should be
@@backwardsbandit8094and the sleep paralisis thing which a lot of people expierence makes it even more belivable
I found the smile dog photos to be really silly and goofy, because I have a childhood memory of my dog stealing my grandma's false teeth
God that's so silly
Its the fact that the people out there who made them KNOW the backstory, the info is SOMEWHERE out there, but they haven't come out with it yet

@@TheLithp I get no hoes no mo 😞
I think the most likely explanation about the teletubbies picture is that they were a company that weren't licensed to use the teletubbies name or likeness so they made their own similar costumes and did a bad job. Zoomers will try to make anything look creepy.
@chandllerburse737 You mean to most zoomers.

I could beat it in a fight, it has no muscles and crawls around making an easy target for it's head to get kicked.
I don't remember ever seeing the rake image as a kid, but I still subconsciously pictured something like the Rake whenever I heard the word rake. I don't know if I saw the picture and forgot, or if rake is just a creepy sounding word

It’s always a good day when Chilling uploads a video!
Let us commence forth!
The amount of views in the short amount of time this video has been alive tells me that we need more creepy pastas
These images are cracking me up. Especially the mickey one. When you showed the one with the gun pointing at him I lost it lmao
I remember how many thumbnails were made with thinking about if it was a video I haven't seen 😅
remember first hearing the rake creepypasta when I was about 8 and then proceeded to tell it to everyone I knew, saying it lived in the woods at the bottom of our housing estate. stuck around a local story to scare kids with now
Im in my car watching this chilling but tue radio has the happiest music
So, around the age of nine, I had seen the Teletubby image. And I was shook to the core. I hadn't overcome my fear of Telletubbies until I dressed up as Po for Halloween.
Alfred: “Why a Teletubby, sir?”
This guy: [dons costume head] “Teletubbies scare me. It’s time my enemies shared my dread.”
I would laugh if the “Smile dog” black and white pictures were a dog that got ahold of somebody’s dentures.
Chilling Scares can make anything sound scary. He could make the phone book sound scary. I wish he would upload more. 💜
How to make Freddy Fazbear's pizza
Preparation time
20 minutes
Cooking time
12 - 15 minutes
What you will need
All-purpose flour or semolina, for dusting
2 balls of Pizzaplex Master Dough (I'll do that later)
½ cup/4¼ Oz/120g Easy Plex Pizza Sauce (I'll do that later)
½ cup/5 Oz/140g grated mozzarella cheese
24 slices pepperoni
2 tbsp capers (optional)
Fresh arugula/rocket to garnish
Pizzaplex master dough
Preparation time
30 minutes
Resting time
1 hour
What you will need
Generous 1½ cups/13 fl Oz/375ml lukewarm water
2¼ TSP/¼ Oz/7 g dried yeast
1 TSP sugar
3¾ cups/1 lb 2 oz/500g unbleached flour plus extra for dusting
⅔ cups/3½ Oz/100g fine semolina
1 TSP salt 4 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for greasing
1. In a bowl, mix the warm water, yeast and sugar together and leave to one side until foamy
Easy Plex pizza sauce
What you will need
14 Oz/400g can of chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste/purée
1 TSP dried oregano
½ TSP sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Strain the canned tomatoes through a sieve into a bowl, pressing the tomatoes through the mesh with the back of a spoon. Stir in all the other ingredients and there you have it-no cooking required!

i honestly find the far left to be the scarier one aswell, the other is trying way to hard its almost funny

I think the picture of the boy with the Teletubbies is a BEAUTIFUL CREEPY image. It just gives off the vibe that something is off. And I LOVE it!!

The reason why I tell this story is because it’s the only time I’ve heard I first hand account of someone having an experience like that you always hear about it online and see videos but this was different because it’s real life especially with his parents saying they don’t go out at night because of weird things happening now of course there’s bob cats and bears and some locals say there’s mountain lions but they don’t talk about that most of them carry guns wherever they go especially in the woods and can deal with animals but no one can prepare for seeing shit like that
Cool creepypasta bro.
