There was something about her that was totally captivating, and she had the kindest, most beautiful eyes, the window of her soul. She had more love in the last weeks of her life than probably in her whole existence. I'm so glad that you gave her that wonderful few weeks of total love and care. But, life must go on, and seeing Staz looking after Nanny so sweetly is a lovely thing to see. At 13 she was not an old horse, what sort of life she must have had before you got her is the sad part, I’ve owned horses for over 20 years and the final kindness is the hardest, thank you for showing her love before she passed.

The owner Tracey did a live and was with 22yr old Hoitze aka Hoitzy Poitzy when he fell asleep, deeply asleep. He was dreaming and his legs started galloping! I think she was as surprised as us watching, it was a magical moment ❤

I’m not sure why I felt so deeply about this horse. Ive tears running down my face as I write this. Somehow I had a connection, I have a rare immune blood disorder and I’ve had to fight to live. I’m stable now. But I saw Petra’s fight as mine. I think she felt love maybe for the first time in her life and though she longed for that she knew the fight it would be to live. You gave her all that she longed for. And then you allowed her to be free. Thank you so much for your love and care of these beautiful creatures ❤❤❤❤
