Ang galing ni Mr. Ceej Pulido. Parang reviewer talaga. I agree with his comment that the tires on the new ertiga is small.
As an Xpander owner, I wish I have checked Suzuki's portfolio. This Ertiga 2020 could have been a very good choice. Many people say that this drives and acts a lot like the Xpander and it is almost 200k pesos cheaper (when we compare both top of the line models). The top of the line Xpander that I have bought is priced at almost 1.2M pesos and the top of the line version of this Ertiga is priced at almost 1M pesos.
Its great to hear a feedback from an actual Ertiga user and his input on the difference between his current and the brand new model. This surely helps people like me reaserching what vehicle to buy. More power to Autobuyers Philippines!

This is a great review for the new buyers and a good way to introduce Ertiga to others. I own the face-lifted version which is kinda new since I had it last 2017 and super satisfied ako. May konting kirot lang kasi before ko nilabas ertiga ko sa Suzuki CDO, I asked the agents kung walang lalabas na all-new Ertiga and they told me na wala at after 5 years pa daw magkakaroon tapos BOOM, after 1 year, inannounce to...

That PMS of 5k+ is a big plus for suzuki. I also heard this from my friends with suzuki. I wish the other Japanese carmakers can offer a reasonable PMS like that. Great review as always! Thanks

7.1 km per liter? Some vlogger says it around 20~27km per liter... I almost believe it... Now im scared of planning into buying it... Thanks for the honesty... I will just upgrade my old classic Suzuki Vitara 1995 model 2nd hand bought it 3 years ago...it surprises me It consumes around no less than 10 km per liter in city, and around 12.8 km per liter in highway.. Its a 1.6 DOHC 16 VALVE, unleaded gas, manual.. how i know?
It took me 25 liters from zamboanga city to Olingan, Dipolog City..
Majority of our viewers like me,are searching for practicality, fuel economy, cheap parts, easy access to buy parts (rarity classic vitara) as time prolonged, durability, longevity and reliability of the car... Some will took a lifetime to earn a car some do not.. Gasoline engine is cheap to maintain compared to diesel engine, and the fuel between the two is near equal... I hope your statement is a fact... Perhaps it is the way how i drive since it is manual... brandnew car w only 1.5 compared to 1.6 cc to my classic vitara it does not make any sense... 7.1 km/L to my 12.8 km/L. Huge gap.. Something is wrong, perhaps.

When i not see this review i bet for Xpander or maybe rush but when i see the Big price Difference and the compariso specially in the lower support shock and spring it begin to change my mind hope that the Quality of the car like A/C Torque and Suspension will be the same to there counterpart.

I agree with the ertiga owner regarding Suzuki casa service. Celerio owner here and we still bring our unit to Suzuki casa for service because its affordable. Owner's have their full view of their units while being serviced. They also explain the service details before doing it.

Ertiga becomes number 1 among family wagon because the the Kia Carens no longer around
Suzuki will outlast kia when it comes to compact cars and mpv.

Saka kung dual aircon po ba si ertiga at same sya ng engine ni carry utility van hinde po ba mahirapan makina ni carry utility van kung naka dual aircon din si carry utility van, if ever na same engine sila ni ertiga at same din sila naka dual aircon, salamat 😊 sana mapansin ninyo question ko 😊

This is a real value for money family car. Dont expect to have every thing good in this price under 1m. One thing for sure siguradong bibilib ka sa engine nito n 1.5 it can take on 10 people siksik mode to Baguio uphill drive in minimum revs in drive mode its agile enough for us perfect tipid pa sa gas.
The ertiga is the bestseller mpv in india for so many years now.
5 speed m/t is ok,4 speed a/t parang masyadong luma,inuubos cguro un mga lumang 4 speed matic tranny,between ertiga at xpander, mas ok ertiga in terms of space and ground clearance.
Sayang nga eh this has the same engine as the Vitara but that one is 6AT

The best in riding comfort ang suzuki ertiga sa 7 seater mpv. Kapag fully loaded, may allowance ang mga sasakyan sa ground clearances.

Parts availability and Casa,why?toyota has more parts and casa than suzuki,if you're living in province,toyota is better in terms of parts availability.

Putting a bigger tire on any car would mean more expensive tire and lower fuel economy. I think suzuki don't want to do that. They want to keep their car prices affordable as much as they could, maybe.
Its engineered to drive with 15inch wheels but just in case you need a higher ground clearance, they give you an option to put up to 17 inch wheels in exchange of fuel economy. Unless you modify the engine. I guess

We have the base model 2nd Gen. The same performance and fuel efficient parin.
Wala lang middle row aircon blower ang base model at ibang features. Pero same engine at transmission din sa ibang higher variants. Kilala ang suzuki ertiga sa driving comfort sa mga 7seater mpv.

Pag uphill at medyo mahaba at puno ng pasahero pinapatay ko aircon para smooth ang andar. With the all-new Ertiga, hindi na ba kelangan i-off ang aircon kahit puno ng pasahero in an uphill drive?
When driving the automatic model, just switch off the overdrive or OD button.
i prefer the old design. san they put the new engine nalang sa old one and pinatibay suspension bushing and higher ride height ground clearancd

Definitely this one. 1m na ata price ng brand new top of the line Avanza tapos kulang kulang pa sa features. Compared sa top of the line Ertiga na hindi aabot sa 1m. Spare parts almost the same na rin since marami na ring nagsusupply ng Suzuki parts hindi lang sa casa. And mas smooth yung ride quality ng Ertiga compared sa Avanza. Fuel consumption is around the same. 3rd row malaki ang luwang ng Ertiga compared sa Avanza.

Sulit ang pera mo sa brand ng suzuki hindi sirain mura pa at maluwag yung loob lalo ciaz at ertega ang lakas pa ng hatak mintain lng yung pagpalit lagi ng oil

Actually sir halos lahat ng 1.5L engine na mpv these days ay same lng ng ave. fuel consumptions kc marami ako friends na meron din mpv 1.5L e.g. avanza, rush, xpander etc..kmi meron din new ertiga 2019 tas nabyahe ko na 1200km so far na observe ko 15km/L po kaya nya pg highway or freeway ka but city driving nasa 8km/L lng, ang aircon nyan nasa 80% na po na usage plus 4 adults po ang sakay, so around 11km/L if combined travel type..magpost po ako ng vlog ng new ertiga in the near future hehe..

Among the 7seater mpv available ngayon, ang least fuel efficient ay ang avanza at rush. Same engine platform from daihatsu. High revving engine kasi sila.
Which is better ertiga or xpander?
Depende sa budget mo mam, kung gusto mo mura sa ertiga ka pero mas mahal xpander po..hehe..but xpander and ertiga has almost the same features po..kaya lng mahal si xpander dahil mas malaki gulong nya 16in compare sa 15in ng ertiga, at meron si xpander led headlamp si ertiga wla po..mas close to center of gravity si ertiga compare ky xpander so it means more stability and more fuel economy si ertiga.
I will go for the latest ertiga.

Sa torque number 1 ang innovaa.if daily byahe mo.malayu at mabigat karga dami kayo lagi innova na.peru if citi driving lang just to bring you from point A to point B bihira ang out of town nyo 2 or 3 lang lagi sakay kit araw2 pa ok na ertiga .innova is very good sa hatakan since deisel sya. question: what is the RPM if you are cruising at 100 kph? thank you
I have the older model 2016 Ertiga, with the K14B 1.373cc engine. At 100kph the engine is running at around 2.500-2.600rpm with automatic transmission. It is very comfortable and economical on inter-city freeway. I just keep it at around 100kph on the freeway when possible. The new Ertiga with larger K15B engine should perform better.

Sir, you didn't mention po about nvh of the car. I own the face-lifted version and grabe yung nvh when reaching 100kph and up on the highway. Yung bago ba, na address na kaya yung issue na yon?
Hi @Kyle Mark Lambonao! The new Ertiga’s Noise-Vibration-Harshness is appreciably improved, as we have mentioned in the review the overall comfort of the vehicle has taken a notch up, and ride quality is now more on the softer side. We suggest you book a test drive to feel it for yourself.
That is more of the engine noise since it's just a mid size engine. Try the new toyota rush and the old model avanza at high speeds and you will be more dissapointed.
Company car ko Avanza 2016. Maingay daw. Pero mas maingay yung scooter ko. I mean, basta marami masakay at tumatakbo, di maulanan, affordable, dun ako.
Isang contributing factor ng ingay ay yun "drivetrain noise" na meron sa mga rear wheel drive vehicles tulad sa avanza at rush.
