  • 2003 JEEP Wrangler Rubicon 4WD with AEV 5.7 HEMI Conversion engine and transmission with 39,662 ONE OWNER Miles. Always garage kept, this jeep was custom ordered in 2003, with the sole purpose of becoming a very capable off-road extreme vehicle. For heat reduction a custom hood was installed at AEV. It has A/C air conditioning, that works perfectly, along with an automatic transmission. And at 10k miles, it was sent to American Expedition Vehicles in Missoula, MT for its engine and transmission install, the 5.7 HEMI V8 coupled with the 5-45 double overdrive transmission (5-545RFE) were installed and the chassis began its makeover with a Currie Enterprises Rock jock 60 Custom Axle Assembly which contained new oversized 35 splined chromoly axle shafts, 4.56 gears, a TOM WOODS Extreme Angle Rear Driveshaft and ARB air locker and Currie Enterprises track bar. And then the front axle received the Warn Dana 30/44 front locking hub conversion along with already containing the factory electric locker center section. They also added OX Greaseable Axle tube seals. Then came the oversized fuel tank from Genright Off-Road. This made for more room to run the large Rock jock 60 Axle and also allowed for the axle to be moved to the rear 1 1/2" and made for better departure angles. This also included a heavy duty skid plate for better protection of the fuel system. The Terraflex long arm kit was installed by Lewis Motors of Daylight, Evansville, Indiana in which we stretched the wheelbase by 1 1/2" and relocated the rear spring buckets to allow for a better ride and more articulation, We also added Terraflex speed bumps to absorb any hard impacts through the suspension. Also at this time, we custom installed the Anit-rock sway bars by Currie Enterprises to prevent lean, during extreme rock crawling. The jeep also has Oldman Emu shocks and approximately 4 1/2" of lift keeping the jeep as close to the ground, so as to not be top heavy, but still retaining room for the NEW, (purchased in 6/2021) 37" IROK Superswampers and allowing for amazing amount of flex and droop. The wheels are Mickey Thompson Forged Alcoa Wheels that have been customized by Champion Wheel Company and have true bead locks installed to keep the tires on the rims when deflated for better traction on the extreme rock surfaces. The brake system has been upgraded using Dave's Custom Heavy Duty Brakes, has a larger master cylinder and brake bias system to help with rear disk brake system and allow the driver to adjust the bias to suit his/her driving style. This vehicle has been maintained to the level of excellence that allows one to also return home from the trail without needing trailered. The brake calipers were replaced May 2021, just as preventive maintenance .It has the Currie Enterprises Steering linkage and tie rods to withstand any bumps and scrapes to rocks during off-roading. It has a full belly skid pan system to prevent any damage to the transmission, oil pan, and transfer case. On the safety side of the jeep, the jeep was equipped with a full roll cage system made by OR-FAB and a set of MasterCraft front seats. The storage was improved by installing a large locking chest unit in the rear which has a petitioned sliding tray and is lockable for carrying any extra off-road components and tools. The glovebox was upgraded to a TUFFY Locking steel glovebox. The stereo was upgraded to a Pioneer system and a small sub and amplifier to make the trails more pleasurable. It will come with multiple top configurations. They are all in excellent condition, JEEP brand. One top is the complete coverage with dark tinted side glass, and a choice of sliding windows for the front half doors or the zippered cloth uppers. The other is a half cab pickup truck style that includes the Tonneau coverage for the rear of the jeep, a back window behind the driver. Also included is a bikini top for the summer days. The front and rear bumpers have been replaced with Custom BulletProof Bumpers, also the rear has a oversized spare tire mount. Both front and rear bumpers have recovery points for clevises. Along with front/rear receiver tubes. On the front bumper is mounted a WARN 9.5 TI with M-P3/8x100' rope, rated at 23,500 lbs including a safely hook and fairlead. And to protect this beautiful jeep it comes with Covercraft Cover and seat covers.
So, as you can tell the Owner spared no expense building this very capable and beautiful jeep. The build totaled in excess of $100,000 and has received very little use. When it was used, it was treated in a manner in which protected and cared for it.
