Clear and totally understandable. You're a good teacher. Never layed a brick in my life but this fascinates me, hope I get to try it soon. Cheers from Rhode Island.
alright dean , only a level two brickwork student here on a apprenticeship with my dad but just wondering about the blue bricks you used wondering if for a better job like you said you were to use roofing tiles on top with a brick on edge for a finish and a slate dpc on the bottom what type of weathering would that bring on the wall?? do you think it would last the test of time??? or is the blue bricks the way to go??
Fuxin hell thanks mate your great Charlie can't teach like you your a brick god . Could you post a video on how to butter bread cos im making a right mess of my sandwiches for my pack up. I think my backs too arched ive butter all over floor.

In architecture, an arris is the sharp edge formed by the intersection of two surfaces, such as the corner of a masonry unit
Nice videos bruv. Any chance of a garden fireplace lesson? I fancy giving that a go!
Perfect! The brick doesn’t fit. What I wanted to happen. OOOOOO YUH I BET 😂 embarrassing fail.
oh yes you legend
Hi mate you are a top top tradesman by the way I just love watching your videos but please could you tell me how you gauge imperial bricks 73mm type
Hi
The length is the same gauge ,
But height for 73 mm is 83mm a course, so 83,166, 249mm etc
@@johngilly9323 thanks for that John you’ve been a great help it’s such an awkward number to work with though thank god for metrication eh!
Imperial guage was 4 to the foot. So 3,6,9 and 12 inches. On most extension a 73mm brick would course to that
@@markrichardson5295 thanks mate I was wondering that👍
Come on Dean 💪🏽👍🏽
Что за раствор (кладочная смесь) с которым работаете? На цемент с песком не похоже.
