I'm glad that you think that way. I wasn't really sure about this one. :)

Love your tutorials, do you have a way to get the projects? patreon or something

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I don't have a Patreon. The videos are free. And I usually post a download link for the scenes... if there is a scene. I'll post a link for this one as well, once I finish the video for it.

Thank you for always giving amazing tutorials. I have a question. How do I activate the function that changes color when the parameter defaults change in 3dmax? I thought it would help me organize when I work.

Hi. I believe this option was added to Phoenix 5.22. It is on by default and can be disabled from Phoenix Preferences.

bro can you make a tutorial regarding the circular ripple cause by the floating objects, in this pool exaple also you have one of that, i used default ripple from modifier but it doesnt gives me perfect result.

i agree...my guess is there is a body force helper with a negative value pushing the ripples away from the tube and they fade off by the time it reaches the edges of that particular phoenixFD simulation

The object has a noise controller on the position Z-Axis that makes it bob up and down a bit. And also slight noise rotation. There's no body force, but the object itself is an emitter. The source doesn't emit any liquid but makes a little bit of extra outward motion.

@@mikegentile13 i thought body force is only used for morphing two shapes. can you explain a bit more. so that i could try. like for body which object should i pick

@@zdravkopavlovi wonder how you will create the realistic ripple like this in a scene where 3 bottle are placed in water and 3 bottles will be close enough to produce a good frame. But each should generate a ripple and it needs to interact with each other. This is what i tried but failed to get a realistic result. Looking forward to know how you gonna treat this situation. I am sure you can crack it

Hi ,I used the Phoenix plugin from chaos for 3Ds Max. I want to buy a new computer with a processor that speeds up the Phoenix Simulating faster . What category should I choose, Intel or AMD? thank you

I'm currently using Intel CPI. It is 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900KF 3.19 GHz. I used an AMD Treadripper. I don't think that there's much of a difference. IMO, faster cores are better than more cores.
Here's the official documentation page with more info:

What is the simplest way for DR rendering and Phoenix? right now i have to point to cache file and change address to network path ( \\username\...)

    • @zdravkopavlov

Each machine that renders a Phoenix simulation has to read the cache files. So, the cache files have to be accessible...
