Do you have a video on how much pressure a cylinder will exert on an object based on a cylinder size and input pressure? I'm trying to understand I'm designing a something like a paper press but I'd like to know how much pressure will it give so I can choose the right cylinder Thank you!
I would also know this, like can I control the pressure in some way. Maybe set a maximum pressure and when reached it will stop and hold that pressure. I'm building a roll laminating table 👍
7:17 I am not sure that linkage for that bucket is correct.. It seems to be a rather complicated way of doing an extended lever, rather than a 4 bar linkage. Unless I am just not looking at it correct ?
Ok i want to make a lemon smasher but want a always extended rod so lemon juice dont get on the rod part that retracks back in the seal, could you give me the name of a cylinder i 😊can buy that will do this i need about 9 to 10 inches extended out before the rod moves out of the cylinder and it can move out at 250mm to 200mm thank you hope understand what iam asking 😊
i have very heavy duty air cylinder. i think it is 40cm stroke and i want to use it for 4x4 snow plow "turning" cylinder. what kind of valve do i need for it. and is there some kind of protection, if plow hits the stump so it can handle the shock from side to side? i really liked that 3 position 5 way valve with joystic. can i use that? Thanks!
Good morning, thanks for the comment. 3 position string to centre would work. Also with it being compressed air, it means the cylinder is “back drive-able” to some extent (some cushioning is present at 10 bar for example)
very informative video, been looking to try out some pneumatics myself recently and its good to see someone in the UK using them.
Thanks for this video! It was short, well done and easy to understand.
Fantastic video, very good observation and instructions
Many thanks!
Great Simple Explanation
thanks for sharing to new engineer like us. god bless you
Love your content. Im kinda new to the solenoids needed for my can crusher. Very informative. Great job
Brilliant video. Spot on for someone who hasn't used pneumatics before.
Thank you!
Very interesting stuff Ben! Got me thinking over here!
The 3 position manual controller is what i am looking for i think for my minitruck tilt bed project
information much appreciated
I have a Jet 52" stop sheer which hydraulic cylinders would I use???

Fantastic video mate from ian
Can it handle a car wight? I mean does it work as a air suspension?

What is the size of the cylinder used at the end of the video
Thanks but these pneumatic components are from which company
Could you make me a kit to fit on a chop saw for wood ben?

bang on that ben 👍👍👍
Thank you so much
Very helpful
Love this 👌
What's the price of this cylinder
Itu menggunakan cairan apa udara?
❤❤❤❤❤
So I've been trying to create this prototype I was wondering if there was some way I could message you and ask for advice on how to create this safely
Go ahead! b3ndx0191@gmail.com cheers for the sub!
@@man-madehand-made6009 Thanks for responding! and ofc good content

Good luck with the project!
@@man-madehand-made6009 Thanks! It seems to work great in theory. i buy the parts and start building tomorrow!
very nice video, am having some ideas. can it be used in steering boats? thank you.
i did that snow plow project and it worked perfect last winter.
