I grew up in an abusive household with an alcoholic dad, and this song rings close to home. I swore to myself then never to touch alcohol, and to be a better father when I have kids. Thank you Ammara for spreading awareness to the kind of trauma that kids like myself grow up with due to alcoholic parents.

She's underrated she's one of the best I've heard coming from Zim. She's on another level, after all she's her daddy's girl. As heartbreaking as it is when it comes to her dad not getting the recognition he deserved. This song needs more airplay, this music must reach the masses all over the world. Big respect Ammara you're 🔥🔥🔥 we want more ❤️

I had never really listened to the song, nor had I listened to the lyrics.
The visuals just made me, listen to the song and realise how deep this song is.
Well done Ammara! This is a topic that's needs continual conversation.
Alcoholism and Domestic Violence are real social issues especially in these hard times our country is facing.
Thank you for putting this together so beautifully.
It will start conversations that are maybe not happening and bring more awareness in a society that accepts this kind of behaviour way too often. Respect to you!
Art is definitely a way of expressing social issues in a way that makes people think a little deeper, you and your team have done that.
I hope this pushes forward the conversations and actions.
More power to you sis, may god keep blessing you creatively, may he keep adding wisdom to you!

I have lived through this hell. As I am growing up I realise men have an immensely huge responsibility to their families. The problem is these men are growing up without good counsel and good role models, only cliches they see on social media. It's a tragedy. I am still trying to get over the fear that was instilled in me by my father at a young age. We need real men. We need men of God.

    *LYRICS*
    VERSE 1]
    It's past midnight
You walking in to start a fight
    This is your life
Day in and out drinking all night
    You keep me scared
Wondering where you are out there
    And it’s not fair
Soon you'll be pulling on my hair
    (Why…) You beat me
Saying you're sorry then you need me
    (Why…) You beat me
Breaking your promises to leave me
What’s in that beers Blocking you from the love in here
It's too late I fear Cuz you won't see clear
    CHORUS]
(Aaaha-ha) While we wait for you (Aaaha-ha) Ah we cry for you (Aaaha-ha) While we wait for you (Aaaha-ha)
Ah we pray for you Tichichema, Tichichema, Tichichema (Tichichema- ah ah ah) Tichichema, Tichichema, Tichichema
(Tichichema- ah ah ah) Tichichema, Tichichema, Tichichema (Tichichema- ah ah ah)
    [VERSE 2]
    He's just a boy
How is he meant to drown the noise
    You raise your voice
Hell in our home Where is our choice
You raise your hands Wondering why he lives in fear
And it's not fair Growing up drowning in his tears
(Why..) You beat me Is this the legacy you're leaving
    (Why..) You beat me
Is this the love you couldn't teach me
What's in that beer's Blocking you from the love in here
And how I pray that you will see clear
    [CHORUS]
(Aaaha-ha) While we wait for you
(Aaaha-ha) Ah we cry for you
(Aaaha-ha) While we wait for you
(Aaaha-ha) Ah we pray for you
Tichichema, Tichichema, Tichichema (Tichichema- ah ah ah) Tichichema, Tichichema, Tichichema (Tichichema- ah ah ah) Tichichema, Tichichema, Tichichema (Tichichema- ah ah ah)
    [BRIDGE]
Ndazvibvira ndazvibvira Kwauri Wandirasa Ndazvibvira ndazvibvira Kwauri Wandirasa
There is no more more more
No more more more I can take
There is no more more more
No more more more I can take
There's a demon living in you I can't get it out There's a demon living in you I can't get it out It is your your your yours
Your your yours left to fight
It is your your your yours your your your yours I cryyyyy
    [CHORUS]

As men, we were raised not to be too emotional but each time I watch this video, tears well up in his eyes. Well done Ammara, this is a good message to us men to learn how not to treat our women

This song means so much to me, it has become so close to my heart, I know the story of the little boy in the video just like anyone else who relates to this song, the video had so much emotions to it, the song has a good vibe you can even dance to it but the message is loud and clear, am so proud of the art and passion Zimbabwean female artists are giving us, Zambia is proud and Africa is proud! This song is my highlight of the year, I love you *Ammara Brown*

I’m sure the dislikes re from the culprits who inflict pain to their spouses and families. Change ur ways. Love is not hurting those u claim u love.
