Big, big fan of the classic PERRY MASON, own the whole series on DVD! And of Bill Mumy---love his solo material and the Barnes & Barnes albums, too! He is quite the songwriter and performer!
This was "The case of the Shifty Shoebox". Denver Pyle &Constance Ford( not Diane Ladd) were in this episode.Benny Baker, a recurring actor, also appeared.
If I'm not mistaken, this episode was in 1961. Billy Mumy was 7 and obviously knew how to be aggressive and sweet at the same time. That quality was more evident on Lost In Space.
Even back then they had to make sure the number game was played. When Billy ran up to the top of the courthouse to see Mr. Mason, he had to mention there were 322 steps to the top floor ...just switch, 223 skull and bones. Everything's coded.
From the PerryMasonTVSeries site: "At the end of the episode, Miles [Billy Mumy] induces Paul to discover an interesting detail about [Perry Mason's] building. There are exactly 322 stairs to reach the floor where Perry's office is located."

My most favorite Perry Mason scene! I even have a screen shot printed copy of the hug on my wall!!
I love Billy Will Mumy!!! from Brazil
Me too, just watched him in Bewitched. He was good little actor.
I thought he’d turn more people into jack in a boxes😂 You’re a bad man a very bad man...😂
I love Bill Mumy
I recognize the voice of Mr. Sheridan, on the witness stand. He did voiceovers.

Diane Ladd also was in this episode, in the role of "Miss Frances."
Diane Ladd played the blonde testifying when Billy Mumy ran into the courtroom.
Was she the murderer? Was that her gun?
What a nice subplot to keep the audience guessing with emotion. Perry is merely eliminating suspects in court, while zeroing in on the culprit.
Seriously though. The fact that a kid was able to get a firearm into a court room is a pretty bad lax of security.
This was in the 1960s before shit like mass shootings and terrorist attacks happened like they did today

That brat was on EVERYTHING in the 60’s!
When Perry hugs Billy Mumy, I imagine it’s me…I have such a crush on Raymond Burr!!!😂🤣😅
He was hot.
