I love how rough and intimidating Andrew's suit is in TASM 1. Incredibly underrated.

My thoughts exactly! With the sneaker soles sunglasses lenses, it truly was a homemade suit! And it still looked amazing, no pun intended!
The best Spidey suit imo has to be Tom’s new classic suit at the end of No Way Home:

I wouldn't say the best but it's definitely the most classic looking, which equals really good, haven't gotten used to the shiny blue, but I'll just have to see it in action to love it
It’s good, but the latex shiny texture of the blue parts just don’t do it for me. Hope they can fix it for the next movie

@@perkshaven Debatable. Depends what era you’re reading. If you’re doing Ditko and Romita they’re pretty flat blues. By issue 100+ onwards with Gil Kane the blues are ever flatter
I love Tobey suit from Spider-Man 2, Andrew suit from TASM2 and Tom’s from homecoming and the end of No Way Home ❤

4:37 there, right there. You can like whichever suit you want, but in terms of graphical fidelity, TASM 2 was peak. Look at those stretches and ripples in the fabric as the wind whips around Andrew. Phenomenal.
True it was one of the best live action suits I dare to say it was the best maybe he isn't the best spiderman but his suits are the best specially that one

What about the traditional red and blue suit from the ending of "Spider-Man: No Way Home"? That has to be one of my favorite live-action Spider-Man suits which was inspired by the Raimi suit, the TASM2 suit, and the Stark suit rolled into one, and looks like it was ripped straight from the comic

Forgot to show Andrew's actual first suit, the "Vigilante" suit. Although it's just him in normal clothing with a mask, beanie, and sunglasses it counts as a first suit just like Tobey's wrestling suit and Tom's homemade suit.
MCU Spider-Man's new "classic" suit is probably the best one, now. I've loved all the suits (minus Night Monkey) in all the films. From Raimi to now, they've been great. But for the longest, Amazing Spider-Man's suit from TASM2 was the perfect suit. It was the most comic book accurate for the longest time. Then the end of No Way Home happened and I was in awe. It's a clear mixture of the Raimi, TASM, and Stark suits, yet the combination created the actual comic book suit. And it looks...well...AMAZING!

Don't get me wrong, TASM 1 is an extremely underrated suit, and it's my personal favorite, but TASM 2 is definitely the best. Literally ripped straight from the comics. And Andrew really sells it in both suits with his expressive body language. You can always tell exactly what he's feeling without moving lenses

The costume worn by Andrew Garfield in "TASM2" and "No way home" is unsurpassed. Not to mention that Andrew has the lean physique that Peter Parker has in the comics and exalts it. When you see Andrew Garfield in the TASM2 costume it seems to really see the comic come to life.

Yes, Andrews suit imo is more comic faithful than the nwh ending suit as the eyes are larger and in the comics the spider is a bit more tall
@@The_Sports_Gang Depends. Andrew's is more accurate to Ultimate because Ultimate has big eyes, and Tom's new suit is most accurate to 616 as the eyes are smaller.

TASM2 suit is just peak in every way. From making Spider-Man look agile , to the eyes , to the way it looks while swinging.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Hammond sits alone in the corner.
The nostalgia and the og music hits different, loved all the suit but no way home ending suit is best so far

The Raimi suit still holds up it's amazing features that made it look intimidating and strong with the silver webbing, lenses, and Spider imblum. The TASM 2 suit is another suit that doesn't get appreciated that much especially how the opening dissolves into frame and shows off the suit👍

a simple and incredible detail is that tobey's spider designed the final uniform based on M.J's hair and eye colors

Will always love Tobey Maguire’s suit. It was the suit of my childhood and so nostalgic. However i still think the stark tech suit was a great modernised take on the Steve Ditko classic suit. From a design point of view, the eyes, the simple cobwebs, the small spider on the chest, the giant tick spider on the back. It’s all on point for me, and highly under appreciated imo. It’s a gorgeous suit.

Spider-Man probably has my favorite roster of live action suits since almost all of them stayed faithful to the comics, mostly the classics especially the Raimi, TASM2 (WOO!!!), and Stark suits, but also to something besides the classic suit like the Symbiote suit in Spider-Man 3 still feeling like the Symbiote even if they didn’t completely go for that comic design or the Stealth suit seeming to take inspiration from Spider-Man Noir, the Iron Spider feeling like it paid some respect to Ben Reilly’s Spidey suit and the Integrated suit being more like the classic Iron Spider, and the Upgraded suit (my favorite, freaking love that suit) being like the Ditko to the Stark suit’s Romita Sr.
RAIMI FOREVER. BEST SUİT.

I agree, if they had given Webb some freedom, we would've had great movies, you can feel the heart put into the TASM movies, but the story wasn't really good thanks to Sony trying to put 60 villains in one movie

Sam Raimi already had the story he wanted to tell us (the audience) and had already completed the script but Avi got involved in it because he wanted to make money and selling merchandise’s he told Sam and talked him through that he should include Venom because he was a “popular character” Avi Arad said to him and Raimi had no interest in including him because he didn’t wanted to include a Villain that he barely knew or never saw and then it gets worse Sony also got involved in it as well the main focus of Spider-Man 3 was going to be the Sandman/Flint Marko’s story arc along with Harry/New Goblin side of the story those were the 2 villains Sam wanted in but no Sony didn’t the idea and the script had to be changed and redo

The physical costumes allowed Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Men to feel tangible. The audience recognizes a human being in a real suit, and can connect better than looking at another smooth 3D model.
